FREDERICTON EARLY LEARNING CENTER

We opened our doors in beautiful downtown Fredericton in 2001. We are located in an historic house that provides a wonderful "home away from home" feeling. The lovely old house and our spacious, shaded back yard are a wonderful place to spend the days playing, discovering and learning... We believe that the foundation for all academic learning is a positive sense of self and the ability to navigate, in a socially acceptable manner, the waters of life. We help provide a strong foundation by encouraging self - regulation, development of problem solving skills and a healthy self esteem in each child we have the privilege of knowing. We encourage the children to achieve the development of these important traits by respecting the child and their decisions. We allow them to have a voice in their daily lives and see them not as empty vessels to be filled, but recognize the existing knowledge they bring to learning opportunities as we learn together.
