GEEKZONE

GeekZone started in 1999 as a partnership with my best friend. We were doing web design and hosting. We needed a business and domain name and settled on GeekZone. We had both been doing web programming (as it was then) for several years. Laboriously hand-coding each page in a text editor and testing in Netscape Navigator (this was before Google, Chrome or Internet Explorer existed) Over the years it hosted my blog but that then moved to marksnell.com and is now mostly abandoned in favour of Facebook. It was also the business name I used for IT support work before splitting it off to The TechDoctor.
