Allahabad is a holy and historical city of north India. It is 200 Km. from the State capital Lucknow and is well connected by road and rail with all major cities of India. Triveni Sangam, the confluence of Ganges, Yamuna and "invisible" Saraswati rivers, is considered holy by Hindus.It is near the 16th century Allahabad fort, built by the Mughal emperor akbar.
