GIBSON SYSTEMS

The founder of Gibson Systems is Brad Gibson. Brad has been coding since he received his first computer in 1984. This first computer was the Commodore Vic-20. Brad spent hours and hours typing in BASIC programs from books and magazines found at the Oak Lawn library. After high school Brad took a different path than most of his classmates. Brad joined the US Navy's Submarine Force in 1990. Throughout his tour of duty Brad continued to develop his programming skills. After all there is not much else to do in a 33' x 300' steel tube for 3 months at a time... After the Navy Brad joined Information Resources, Inc as an IBM AIX Administrator and shell script developer. Brad continued in this role until an opening in the Web Technologies group became available. This opening came during the infancy of the Internet.
