Heather Glick-Atalla is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law, and focuses her law practice on Estate Planning and Nonprofit Law. Her estate planning services include drafting revocable and irrevocable living trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, advanced health care directives, durable powers of attorney, HIPAA documents, trust certifications, grantor retained annuity trusts, charitable remainder trusts, lead and annuity trusts, stock purchase and sale agreements, buy-sell agreements, prenuptial agreements, transmutation agreements, deeds and assignments, forming family partnerships and limited liability companies, completing estate tax returns, and assisting clients with trust administration. As part of her nonprofit law practice she forms nonprofit corporations, prepares applications for federal and state tax exempt status, and serves as general counsel for nonprofit organizations that have compliance issues or are in need of assistance with nonprofit governance. Heather graduated near the top of her class from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2009, where she was awarded an academic scholarship during all three years of study. She earned her bachelor of science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in 2005. Heather was admitted to practice law in California in 2009. During law school Heather focused on developing her research and writing skills through her courses and legal clerkships, and was a member of the San Diego Law Review. Prior to joining Glick Atalla, APLC in 2010, Heather volunteered her time at Bet Tzedek - The House of Justice in Los Angeles, primarily working on behalf of Holocaust survivors seeking reparations from Germany and other European countries. She orchestrated a major survivor's reparations program, which included drafting all necessary applications, forms, and correspondence to hundreds of clients as well as attorneys in Bet Tzedek's volunteer network across the United States. Heather currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association. In 2013 through 2019 Heather was named a Southern California Super Lawyers "Rising Star" attorney and was featured in two issues of Los Angeles magazine as well as Super Lawyers magazine. In 2014 she was nominated by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal as one of the Valley's Trusted Advisors, and in 2020 and 2021 Heather was named as a Southern California "Super Lawyer". In 2017, Heather became certified as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. MARSHALL A. GLICK

Marshall A. Glick has been practicing law for over 45 years, emphasizing Estate Planning, Non-profit Law, Business and Corporate Law, and Real Estate Transactions. Prior to founding Glick Atalla, APLC (formerly known as Marshall A. Glick, APC) in 1985, Marshall was a partner at a Century City, Los Angeles law firm. While still in law school, he formed his first charity, Campus Committee To Bridge The Gap, in 1967. Marshall's passion for forming and advising non-profit organizations has continued throughout his career, and his enthusiasm for the practice of law is now shared by his daughter Heather Glick-Atalla, who joined the firm in 2010.
