Goode Properties Inc. began its history with the name Texas Feeds Ltd. Established in 1966 by Al Goode, Texas Feeds operated in the agriculture and transportation industry buying spent grains from breweries throughout Canada and the United States and selling them to farmers for cattle feed. With competition mounting and the industry becoming less profitable, Al, together with his wife Shirley, formed ASG Management & Investment Ltd. to diversify the business.
