CUSTOM PERFORMANCE

Dale Sciranko, the owner of Custom Performance, has been surrounded by Mustangs his entire life. He grew up helping his father, Bob, at his performance transmission shop. Dale owned his first Mustang at age 13 and worked night and day to get the 1967 Fastback ready for the day he could drive... legally, that is. When Dale was in high school he was one of the few who owned a Mustang, because Ford was considered the underdog in those days. He had logged years of research and development by the time Ford introduced the new 1987 5.0 Mustang body style. Many would go to Dale for tuning and advice because of his reputation for always having one of the fastest Mustangs. Eventually he was so busy making others' Mustangs go fast he decided to open a shop dedicated to just that. Custom Performance was founded in November 1991 and has continued to grow as Dale's family has grown...
