In the Groupe Lacroix, acting responsibly and ethically is at the heart of everything we do. We have been committed to a sustainable approach from the outset... The story began in 1946 in France, in a mountain village in the Jura, which at the time was the capital of the wooden cheese box. Today, the Groupe Lacroix manufactures wooden, cardboard and plastic packaging for the food industry... Over the years, we began to develop more and more precise techniques for shaping wood, and a bold idea started to form in our head: maybe we could put our know-how to good use with local cheese makers, of whom there were also very many in our region.
