Gulf Engine & Equipment was founded in 1967 by Les Palmisano, Sr. We quickly developed a reputation for packaging offshore equipment during the oil boom in the 70s and early 80s. In 1982 the company relocated to its present facility in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Through the 90s, Gulf Engine acquired and developed new product lines to support offshore customers. In 2000, Les Palmisano Jr. took over the company. Gulf Engine is proud to be a family-owned-and-operated business...
