Upon graduation from College, Arthur was commissioned a Second Lieutenant. From 1976 to 1980, he held various training and operational assignments in Quantico, Virginia; Camp LeJeune, North Carolina; and Okinawa, Japan. In 1981, at the age of 27, he was selected for duty at Marine Barracks 8th & I and later served as a military aide in the Reagan White House. Command and staff assignments led him around the globe, including tours of duty in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Operation Desert Storm, and combat operations in Somalia, Africa in Operation Restore Hope. From 1988 to 91, as Principal Advisor to the Secretary of Defense, he was the senior Department of Defense representative for government-to-government negotiations and investigative efforts relating to the POW/MIA issue in Vietnam, Laos, Korea, and Iraq. In his final tour of duty, he was Assistant Secretary of the General Staff at Headquarters Marine Corps in the Pentagon. Upon retirement from the Marine Corps with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, in September 1997, he began his Wall Street career and joined Merrill Lynch as a NASDAQ Trader where he would rise through the ranks and eventually be promoted to Manager of Merrill's Equity Dealer Desk. From 2005 through 2012 he was the Chief Operating Officer for Public Finance at the Bank of America / Merrill Lynch in New York City.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in business management and economics from Saint Francis College, a Master's degree in accounting from Georgetown University's Graduate School of Business, and he is a graduate of the Marine Corps Command and Staff College. In 2010, he attended Executive Education in Leadership at the Harvard Business School.

Kirk Harrington has more than two decades of professional, military and government experience. As a U.S. Army Officer, he was an early member of the elite Joint Task Force-SIX. He has also held various assignments within the Special Operations (SOCOM) community. In 2006, he was appointed a senior adviser and diplomat by the U. S. Department of State to the Government of Iraq. As the U.S. Government Representative to the Iraqi Ministries of Transportation and Construction and Housing; Mr. Harrington oversaw every facet of joint U.S. / Iraqi infrastructure development. Mr. Harrington is also a lecturer on Middle Eastern affairs at the US Military Academy, West Point and he is a founding member of Emerging Foreign Market Collaboration, LLC.
Mr. Harrington is a decorated former Army Officer with a Bachelors Degree from the University of South Dakota where he was a NCAA All-American in the Decathlon. He is also active in many charities and is a Director with the Purple Heart Injury Lab (PHIL), a charitable organization set up to deal with the thousands of returning service-members who suffer from Traumatic Brain Injuries.
Mr. Hellmann is the President of Global Security Solutions. In the course of his daily duties he leads business operations, business development and manages the firm's extensive network of clients globally and domestically. Mr. Hellmann is currently engaged working with and consulting to international corporations, significant individuals, the U.S. Military / military contractors and law enforcement / government agencies both here and abroad.
Mr. Hellmann has twenty-five years in the Security Industry and Professional Law Enforcement experience advising clients on various security and individual protective strategies. He is a recognized industry leader establishing corporate security initiatives with focus on Vulnerability Assessments, Business Investigations, Corporate Security infrastructure, Business Controls, Crisis Management, Security Manager Training / Coaching and Executive Security protection.
As a Captain with the New York City Police Department, he has commanded many elite units. He was proactive in the gun and homicide reduction in NYC. Mr. Hellmann acted in a senior role for security planning within the New York City Transit System and played a key role leading / conducting strategic exercises. He commanded the largest narcotics teams in the city, managing complex undercover operations on New York City's most dangerous streets.
His investigations have had an international reach and flair as well. As Commanding Officer of NYPD's Auto Crime Division's Major Case Unit, Mr. Hellmann tracked numerous international criminals ranging from former intelligence officers to large organized criminal groups throughout the world involved in smuggling cars from New York and the east coast of the United States. He has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars.
Mr. Hellmann is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and possesses a Bachelors Degree from the State University of New York.
