Paul Manz has achieved over 24 years of extensive healthcare management and consulting experience. Paul's national experience stretches across numerous health care segments. Paul's expertise focuses on health plan financial management, provider contracting arrangements and state of the art analysis reporting systems.
Paul served as the Vice President of Provider Contracting & Reimbursement for a major metropolitan based health plan, which included the strategic design and contracting implementation of a $6 billion healthcare fund. Paul also served as the Division Director of Actuarial & Statistical Services for an Anthem Plan, being responsible for managed care financial forecasting, large group pricing, underwriting and provider payment risk based systems, as well as the financial management of health plans.
Additionally, Paul has provided consulting services for over 12 years supporting the provider, payer and employer markets. In these positions, Paul served as the President of a New England based consulting firm that specialized in the use of large scale data based system to support providers, payers and reinsurers in the support of actuarial, reimbursement and reporting infrastructures, including some of the initial internet based "drill down" reporting systems and "severity adjusted" risk sharing methods.
Paul holds a degree in Business from Villanova University and an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Temple University in Philadelphia.
Paul also serves as the Chairman of the Finance Committee for Friends Life Care at Home.
