Brett Steven Heckman

Biography: Brett Steven Heckman was born in Bethesda, Maryland on December 1, 1954, received his B.A. from St. Lawrence University in 1977, and received his J.D. from University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 1985. Mr. Heckman is admitted to practice in state and federal courts from Florida to Washington. Mr. Heckman now has settled in to two areas of focus: wills and trusts and construction law. Mr. Heckman has been recognized for his professional achievements in the Vail Valley and Eagle County for more than 30 years.

Terrence Patrick O'Connor

Terrence O'Connor began his legal practice in the Vail Valley in 1979. Born on December 31, 1951, in Little Rock, Arkansas, he was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 1977 and the Colorado Bar in 1979. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville Law School and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Kentucky. Since 1979, Mr. O'Connor has focused on criminal defense, representing clients in the United States District Court in Denver, as well as district and county courts in Eagle, Summit, Pitkin, and Garfield Counties, and municipal courts in Vail, Breckenridge, and Aspen. He is one of the few attorneys on the Western Slope approved by the State of Colorado as Alternative Defense Counsel in capital offense cases.
