HEROES® is a nonprofit organization. We operate through an efficient, volunteer-driven model supported by community donations. Contributions come from individual citizens, corporations, trusts and other philanthropic organizations... Additionally, HEROES® offers legal and financial advice to help spouses and dependents navigate their new financial reality. With this expert guidance, HEROES® empowers families to make sound decisions, protect against loss, and stay on solid financial ground... Twice a year, HEROES® provides a small cash gift to each dependent child under 21 years of age. This money is to help them purchase or experience things they might not otherwise be able to enjoy.
