Brenda Wolverton

Brenda received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Biology from Central University in Pella Iowa in 1994. After spending a year teaching English in China and then working for 2 years for a physical therapist in Washington Iowa, she went on to pursue a degree in physical therapy. She graduated with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Beaver College (now known as Arcadia University) in Glenside PA in 1999. Following graduation she moved to Fairbanks Alaska and began her practice in North Pole. In 2009 she joined the staff at Home Town Physical Therapy. Brenda's primary interest is in evaluation and treatment of orthopedic conditions with emphasis on manual therapy intervention and exercise prescription. She earned her Board Certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2010. She completed a certification program from the Ola Grimbsy Institute in 2012 as an Orthopedic Manual Therapist.

Greg Milles

Greg Milles, PT is a 4 th generation Fairbanksan and attended West Valley High School. During his senior year he moved to Indianapolis to play Junior A hockey for two seasons before returning to Fairbanks on a hockey scholarship. He graduated from UAF in 1996 with the Joel Wiegert Award (for outstanding male graduate) and the Outstanding Scholar Athlete Award while playing four seasons of Div I Hockey; he then graduated with his Master's of Science in Physical Therapy from Pacific University in 2000. He met his wife while working at the Southwest Washington Medical Center and was married in 2002. Shortly afterwards, they had their first son in 2004 and decided to make the move back to Fairbanks where they started Home Town Physical Therapy in July 2004. Greg & Kelly had three boys and a girl, and enjoy spending their free time attending their sporting events, as well as, coaching them in hockey & soccer. Greg continues to be active in youth hockey as the Coaching Coordinator for Hockey Club Fairbanks and the Arctic Lions Tier 2 programs, serving on both Organizational Boards, as well as, coaching with his two oldest sons' teams. Over the past 17 years, Greg has developed a strong interest in working with all levels of athletes from the recreational to professional levels, and thoroughly enjoys the post-surgical rehabilitation process. His background allows him to focus on body awareness, exercise progression and use of manual therapy to return patients to their improved state of activity.

Jason Gillam

Born and raised as a 4th generation Fairbanksan, Jason graduated from West Valley High School. His first exposure to physical therapy was in high school, recovering from various knee and ankle injuries from sports. That experience inspired him to pursue physical therapy as a career. After earning his Exercise and Sport Science degree from Oregon State University in 2000, he completed his Master of Physical Therapy degree at the Mayo School of Health Sciences in 2003. He earned his Board Certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2012 and completed certification as an Orthopedic Manual Therapist from the Ola Grimsby Institute in 2012. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (Orthopedic section) and a Certified Clinical Instructor for physical therapy students. After working in Wasilla, AK for several years, he joined the team at Home Town Physical Therapy in 2011. His primary interest is in evaluation and treatment of orthopedic conditions, but he also has extensive interest and experience working with the geriatric population (particularly fall prevention and education) as well as various neurological disorders. Professionally, his passion lies in assisting his clients in reaching their full potential, whether in work, sports, or life in general. Outside of the clinic, Jason also works as an ice hockey official for local youth, high school and adult leagues as well as the Ice Dogs. He enjoys spending quality time at home and exploring Alaska with his friends and family.

Jennifer Young

Jennifer grew up in North Pole where she attended North Pole High School. She did her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin in Madison where she graduated in 1997 with a BS degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Physiology. She continued on with graduate school at the University of Wisconsin and graduated in 1999 with a Masters in Physical Therapy. After graduation Jen moved west to Silverdale, Washington where she started her first job at Kitsap Physical Therapy and Sports Clinic. The majority of her patient load included a variety of orthopedic and sports injuries as well as treating some vestibular disorders. In 2008 she returned back home to Fairbanks to raise her family and continue her career. After working several years with orthopedic injuries she knew that not only was that where her experience was but also the population she loved treating, so she was looking for a similar environment in Alaska which she found at Home Town Physical Therapy. She has taken numerous classes in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic and sports injuries and in 2011 became a board certified orthopedic specialist. In 2012 she went on to further her education with a year long certification course in manual therapy through the Ola Grimsby Institute.

Jill Stagg

Jill grew up in southeastern Wisconsin. She earned her BA in International Studies and German from St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI. After working for four years in the Minneapolis and Chicago area she decided to change career paths and go back to school for physical therapy. Jill earned her BS and her Masters of Science of Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2001. Jill began her professional career working at the Philadelphia Nursing Home treating a variety of diagnosis' including orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders and wound care. In the spring of 2002 Jill accepted a position at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital which enabled her and her husband to move to Fairbanks, Alaska. Through the hospital's rotation of therapists through their variety of settings she was able to determine that outpatient physical therapy was where she wanted to work. Jill enjoys helping patient's improve their function so they can have a better quality of life. Jill is a Certified Mulligan Practitioner (CMP) and has completed advanced training in orthopedic manual physical therapy through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). Jill specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation with a focus on temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction and vestibular disorders. In her free time Jill enjoys playing with their dogs, hiking, fishing, snowshoeing, and exploring the state with her husband in their Cessna 172.
