Elise N. Rice

Elise has been working for IDC Engineering since November of 2003 as Administrative Assistant. She graduated from Grace College in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and a minor in Business Administration. Elise has obtained a wide range of skills and experience through different job opportunities. Her organizational skills and aptitude with technology and time management has been essential to IDC Engineering's work efforts. She is now managing our branch office in Celina, Ohio, and has recently been promoted to Controller.

Julie E. VanDyne

Job Titles:
  • Principal
Ms. VanDyne has been involved in the power industry since graduation in 1980 from Ohio University. She holds an MBA from Capital University in Columbus, and is a registered Professional Engineer in Ohio, as well as multiple other U.S. States (see resume below). She is also currently registered with the NCEES. Her career began in consulting, but includes over 14 years with AEP, where she held a variety of Transmission and Distribution, Customer Engineering, and Management positions. At AEP, she helped found the company's Power Quality function. She re-entered the consulting world in 1995, and furthered her power quality background with a broad range of power quality and system analyses. In 1999, she led the design of the North American version of Siemens' Sipcon T: their traditional filtered capacitor bank. In the same year, she founded her own company, IDC Engineering, Inc., which focuses on Power Quality, Power System Analysis, Utility Consulting and Arc Flash Analyses.

Sherri L. Muhlenkamp - VP

Sherri has been working for IDC Engineering since July of 1999 as one of our talented electrical engineers. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Akron. During her years at the University of Akron, she worked as an electrical engineer - co-op until her graduation in 1991. She worked for 6 years at the BP Oil Company in Lima, Ohio, as an Instrumentation Specialist. In 1997, she began work as an Electrical Engineer for Goodyear. Two years later, she came to employment with IDC Engineering as our Project Manager, and is now managing our branch office in Shreve, Ohio, as Vice President.
