Calley R. Mize

Calley decided to become an attorney when she was 11 years old. She attended Southern Illinois University and graduated with honors. After graduating, Calley attended Southern Illinois University School of Law, where she worked actively in the Immigration Detention Project, seeking to protect the rights of immigration detainees. There she became passionate about preserving the rights of the underprivileged. After graduating law school, Calley worked with multiple world-wide charitable and humanitarian organizations to improve their fundraising and efficiency and learning about their work on a world-wide scale. Calley has practiced many different areas of law, including family law, criminal law and estate planning. She was appointed as Assistant Public Defender for Macoupin County in 2018, becoming the first female appointed to a full-time Public Defender position in that county. While with the Public Defender, Calley handled felonies, misdemeanors, DUI's, traffic, juvenile adjudication, juvenile delinquency, juvenile truancy, and was a sitting member of the Macoupin County Drug Court. Calley joined Madelyn Daley and Associates in 2023 to continue to pursue her passion for criminal defense. In her free time, Calley enjoys reading about queenship in Early Modern and Renaissance Europe and spending time with her friends and family.

Grant T. Menges

Grant T. Menges began his passion for defense litigation during college. He was able to provide the defense in several judicial matters on campus and truly enjoyed winning. Upon graduating, Grant pursued that passion for defense litigation by attending the University of Illinois College of Law, which he attended on scholarship. Upon graduating from law school, Grant passed the bar in multiple states and eventually settled into defense litigation at the St. Clair County Public Defender's Office. He quickly became the Head of Misdemeanor and Juvenile where he began to hone his trial skills. From there, he moved on to felony and eventually became the Chief of Litigation, handling everything from drug possession to armed robberies to murder and everything in between. In August of 2021, Grant joined Daley & Associates where he continues with his passion for defense litigation by representing the citizens of Illinois in all criminal matters.
