Originally located in south Minneapolis with moves to Bloomington in 1958 and finally Farmington in 1975, the soil has always been our primary product. Our dirt is of the highest grade and can be picked up or inspected at our sales yard in Farmington... For 100 years, The Independent Black Dirt Company has been family-owned and operated. Based in Farmington, Minnesota we offer the highest quality topsoil, sand, and compost at competitive prices to both commercial and residential clients.
