I am a passionate broker with over 14+ years of real estate experience. In those years, I have closed more than 275+ transactions, totaling $600MM+.
I am driven by the needs of my clients and known for my unrivaled persistence and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done, always meeting and exceeding my clients' goals. I treat every deal as my only deal. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Marketing degree in 2003, and I'm a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois.
I'm a broker, advisor, and consultant, driven by the goal of maximizing real estate values for clients. I am experienced with advising in the purchase and sale of retail, adaptive reuse, multifamily, development, and 1031 exchanges.
My expertise in Chicago neighborhoods allows me to be creative in finding the right solutions for buyers and sellers and getting deals across the finish line. Outside of the office I enjoy playing golf, cheering on the Chicago Bears, and spending time with my family. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Economics, and I am a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois.
I'm Craig Martin, a CPA turned Broker. Multifamily real estate is my passion. My entire career has been dedicated to this field. My training, knowledge, and experience in real estate are some of the tools I use to add value for each client I work with and transaction I work on.
I started my career as a Certified Public Accountant in the real estate practice with a Big 4 accounting firm. With a desire to be more involved in the transactional side of commercial real estate, I joined a real estate private equity firm. In 2012 I was presented the opportunity to pair my expertise with my passion and join Interra Realty as a commercial broker. As a managing partner, I assist both buyers and sellers in the sale of properties throughout the Chicagoland area. I graduated from the University of Illinois earning a Bachlor's Degree and A Master's Degree in accounting. I am a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois.

I founded Interra Realty with Jon Morgan in 2010, seeking to create a different kind of brokerage company-one whose focus is entirely on you.
My broad industry background allows me to approach solutions from many perspectives. I began my professional career in 1985 as a real estate attorney before becoming a licensed managing broker in the State of Illinois in the early 90's. I've been an investor and broker ever since. I have a Bachelor's Degree and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois.
An investment in real estate is, more likely than not, the largest investment our clients make in their lifetime, and I try to never forget that throughout the sales process. I am experienced in each step of the real estate cycle, and I'm learning more each day. My goal is to find innovative ways of solving my clients' problems.
After graduating from Indiana University, I moved to Chicago and worked in software sales before starting my career in real estate. I am a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois.

I have personally sold over 200 properties, comprised of over 4,400 units, for a total consideration of over $750,000,000. In recent years, I've been the most active broker in the sale of $2MM+ multifamily buildings in Chicago.
In addition to being a broker, I'm a devoted dad (Jack and Will), overachieving husband (Kate), proud Chicago resident (Lincoln Park), erratic golfer (VERY erratic), multifamily owner/operator (small buildings/great locations) and homegrown Hawkeye (marketing and entrepreneurship).

I've been in the real estate business since 2004. In that time, I've been involved in over $1 billion of transactions, including apartment buildings, retail properties, and ground-up developments. I joined Interra Realty as an Associate with a focus on the sale of apartment buildings throughout Chicagoland. I strive to meet client needs and see obstacles as opportunities to overcome new challenges. My daily activities include market analysis, business development, and asset valuation.
Prior to joining Interra Realty, I spent 6 years as a top leasing consultant at one of Chicagoland's leading property management companies and learned the ins and outs of operating multifamily investment properties. This unique experience laid the foundation for my consultative approach as a broker. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2017 with a degree in Management, and I am a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois.

I am originally from Indiana, and moved to Chicago in August of 2020. I have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Social Media Marketing and Hospitality from Saint Xavier University in Chicago. I started my career managing social media content for small retail companies, and later was the office manager for a hospitality company.

Being a part of the communities I work in is important to me. I participate in a number of organizations including the Southside Builders Association, South Side Community Investors Association, and Real Estate Investment Association. I'm a graduate of Marquette University's Center for Real Estate and a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois. I continue to stay active with Marquette's Center for Real Estate as a member of the Center's Advisory Board and Real Estate Alumni Board. My wife and I live in Lincoln Park.
