JCPL, formally known as "JAGANNATH NAMAK UDYOG" was started by Mr. Navrang Lal Agarwal (CHAIRMAN) in 1983 as an Entrepreneur in the salt trading and production of COMMON SALT (production area of approx 250 Bhiga), located at Gram - AOU, Distt. - Ajmer. In 1987, after successful experience of 4 years in salt industry, Mr. Navrang Lal Agarwal had started the production of NON REFINED IODISED SALT in Nawa City... In August 2008 the company was registered as a private limited company, under the Companies Act 1956... With the 10 years experience and knowledge of Mr. Yogesh Gupta (DIRECTOR) in production & marketing of Refined Iodised and Industrial Salt, JCPL has started refinery for the production of REFINED FREE FLOW IODISED SALT on April 27, 2009 and the Factory was inaugurated by the then Salt Commissioner of India, Mr. S. Sundaresan.
