JAN KOEHLER

Jan Koehler is an American software designer and entrepreneur based in San Francisco. Jan's specialty is TV UX/UI for entertainment streaming platforms like Netflix, Roku, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video. Jan established herself as a founding member of the original team who launched TiVo. Jan created the Thumbs Up Thumbs Down concept for predicting what shows a user may like based on user preferences. She also directed Thomas Dolby for audio sounds for the TiVo platform. Jan is available internationally for consulting projects... Creating a new product takes risk & courage. There will always be naysayers advising of why something won't work. It's important to remember sometimes humans are resistant to change or they might not know what they want until they see it. As Henry Ford said, "If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." That's why it's important to be the innovator. Be open minded. Push the boundries. Try something new.
