Edward Amey - CEO

Edward joined Jay Nolan Community Services in January of 2019 as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). A Southern California native, born and raised in the San Fernando Valley area, Edward earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from U.C. Santa Barbara in 1992 and a master's degree in Educational Psychology and Counseling at California State University, Northridge in 1995. He has been in the social services and educational arenas for over 19 years, in addition to having worked in the Information Technology industry for six. He is an avid traveler with his wife and daughter, and enjoys discovering the history and culture of the places they visit. Edward has served in leadership and program administration roles for the Institute for the Redesign of Learning, Children's Bureau of Southern California, the Lutheran High School Association of Southern California and the California Association of Private Special Education Schools. Edward has a passion for building inclusive communities, and has a desire to see every individual reach their potential and live a life of purpose.

Jessica Morrow has worked for Jay Nolan Community Services Supported Living Department since 2004 when she relocated from New York. Though Jessica secured her formal education from Plattsburgh State University of New York, she attributes her skills as an advocate, supporter, volunteer, and family member to the Jay Nolan Community Services culture and unwavering dedication to the Mission and Values. In 2016 Jessica transitioned from Supported Living to Employment and Day Services being inspired by assisting people to achieve career goals and professional purpose.

Jorge D. Preciado

Jorge D. Preciado has over 14 years of diverse experience in human services, including hands-on direct support, supervisory and staff training. He first joined Jay Nolan Community Services working as a Home Support Worker and Job Coach then advanced to Lead Staff, then Community Living Coordinator. Jorge then returned to JNCS after three years of sales management to join the Human Resources Training Department as Training Specialist then advanced to current position as Director.

June Getz has been working within the field of Human Resources for 8 years. June began her career with JNCS in 2007 as the Employment Recruiter and then was promoted to Employee Training Manager and then promoted to Director of Human Resources in 2014. June attended California State University, Northridge and earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Sociology and a Human Resources Management Certification through the Graduate program's Tseng Extended Learning. June currently holds a nationally recognized Professional in Human Resources (PHR) License. She is also a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).

Lisa Fisher

Lisa Fisher has over twenty- five years of experience in assisting people with disabilities to live valued lives in the community. Her achievements include developing and managing community rehabilitation and employment programs, as well as redesigning existing community rehabilitation and employment programs to more progressive models for multiple agencies. Lisa pursued a bachelor's degree at the University of Hawaii majoring in Religious studies. Lisa is a national trainer, training other employment providers on utilizing person centered planning to achieve better employment outcomes. Lisa is committed to supporting people in having equal access and opportunity to live the life they chose.

Luz Chavez

Luz Chavez began working for JNCS in 2004 in our Family Support Services Department. After receiving her BA in Criminal Justice she transferred to Supported Living Services Department and worked as a Community Living Supervisor. Luz left the agency to work at the state regional center for 2 years. She returned to JNCS in 2015 to current position as SL Director with a Masters degree in Public Administration.

He has served with wonderful organizations such as Westside Family Health Center, Therapeutic Living Center, and Easter Seals. He has also proudly served in the U.S. Army, including being stationed abroad. Mike is committed to the mission of Jay Nolan, and we are excited to have him join the team.
