In today's world of high stress and 24-7 information overload, it can be difficult to have a proactive mental and physical health strategy. A key component of this is understanding how stress and life balance are impacting your life and that of your family. It is easy to lose touch with what is "normal" when it comes to finding balance and offsetting negative health implications based on busy schedules. Stress is a key contributor and catalyst to potential long-term and late-life diseases. We become so accustomed to stress through lifestyle choices, we don't realize the short- or long-term impacts. Having a proactive stress- and lifestyle-management strategy is an ongoing challenge we must face as we endure.
