David Tinsley

David Tinsley is a native of Marion, Indiana graduating from Vincennes University with honors in 1988 obtaining his degree in Mortuary Science. David has served in the funeral community for 35 years, serving in Los Angeles, Marion, Warsaw, and South Bend & Mishawaka. He joined the staff of Johnson-Danielson in April of 2023 after serving in Michigan City. David has three children; Elisa & Michael Werner, Jayme & Rudy Nuno, David Asher Tinsley, and has four grandchildren, Molly, Rachel, Jacob, and Annastacia. David is an avid cat lover and is of the Wesleyan faith.

Irene C. Ayers

Irene enjoyed gardening, collecting stamps and coin even making sure the coins would look pristine by washing them. An avid lover of animals where multiple strays would make their way to find a new home on the farm. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Plymouth, offering her time to help with the Christmas Bazaars.

James W. Weldy

Jim is a 1978 graduate of Worsham College of Mortuary Science, Chicago, IL. While serving families in funeral service for the past 40 years, Jim continues to serve on a Federal Mortuary Disaster Team through the Department of Health and Human Services. He has responded to many mass fatalities, such as 9/11, Hurricane Rita and Katrina, and the earthquake in Haiti. He and his wife have two children, Brian (Beth) Weldy of Urbana, IL, and Jamie (Ryan) Beckwith of Plymouth, IN. Brian and Beth have blessed them with two grandsons, Ethan and Oliver. Jim and Terri purchased the funeral home in 2017. Members of First United Methodist Church, Plymouth; Jim is also a member of the American Legion, Post #27, and the Plymouth Lions Club.

Jamie Weldy-Beckwith

Jamie has an extensive history in retail management and customer service. In 2015, Jamie graduated from the University of Illinois in Springfield with a Bachelor's in Accountancy and a double minor in Business Administration and Management. Jamie prides herself on providing excellent service through the customer experience and continues the standard that Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home has established over the years. Jamie graduated from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in September of 2022 and is thrilled to have great mentors at Johnson-Danielson to help guide her. She is also on the Board of Directors at Dustin's Place, a free grief support center for children and families in Plymouth as well as a member of the Plymouth Lions Club. Jamie moved to Plymouth in 2020 with her husband, Ryan, and their kitties, Ali, Lucy, and Louie. They enjoy traveling and spending time with their family.

Jordan Mayfield

Jordan Mayfield is a native of Elkhart Indiana graduating from Concord High School in 2001. Upon graduating he proudly served his country in the Army and spent 30 months in combat during Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he received the Combat Action Badge for "Courage Under Fire." After returning from his second deployment he spent his last five years of service providing full military honors for 3,000 fallen veterans earning the "Honor Guard Tab" from Arlington National Cemetery. After retiring from the Army in 2015 as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer, he attended Vincennes University graduating with distinction and obtaining his degree in Mortuary Science. Jordan joined the staff at Johnson-Danielson in August 2019 mid through his internship and became licensed in December 2019. He and his wife Amanda have two children, Gracie and Luke, and attend Christian Center Church in South Bend.

Mary Sue

Mary Sue Burns Burroughs entered her heavenly home on Friday, June 9, 2023. She was born in Plymouth, Indiana on July 22, 1935 to Ford and Hazel Newman Burns. She graduated from Plymouth High School with the class of 1953. At the age of thirteen she met the love of her life, Willis David Burroughs, and they married on December 27, 1953. In her youth, Mary Sue was a master baton twirler and performed with her twin sister, Betty Lou, and her younger sister Peggy at many events around the country. She also enjoyed roller skating. Mary and Willis were beautiful dance skaters and actually met at a roller-skating rink. Mary Sue was a faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Plymouth where she sang in the choir and helped with Bible School and other church activities for many years. Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and loved to cook Sunday family dinners. She was legendary for her strawberry jam, deviled eggs, and pumpkin cookies. She loved attending her family's numerous music, drama, church and athletic activities and often traveled out-of-state to do so. Mary worked full-time until she was 80 years old. She was employed at Wickes in Argos for many years and then worked in the sales office at Bomarko for more than forty years. Mary Sue was full of life and was active her whole life. She was still walking 3-5 miles a day through her eighties. She is survived by her husband, Willis Burroughs, two sons: Mike (Sandy) Burroughs and Jim (Donna) Burroughs; grandchildren: Amanda (Dustin) Richert, Jimmy (Tianna) Burroughs, Allison (Charles) Garmon, and David (Renee) Burroughs; great-grandchildren: Juliana Richert, Cooper Richert, Harper Burroughs, Piper Burroughs, Hanna Barham, Teagan Garmon, and Ella Garmon; sister Peggy (Del) Fast as well as many nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her twin sister, Betty Burns Yockey.

Terri Weldy

Terri has served families in the financial and insurance market since the late 1970s. Most recently, she managed two bank branches in Central Illinois, prior to moving to Plymouth. She is a native of Havana, IL, and graduated from Havana High School and Spoon River College. Terri spends most of her time at The Remembrance Centre helping families create a monument that is the perfect tribute to themselves and their loved ones. Terri and Jim are members of First United Methodist Church. She is also the Treasurer of the Plymouth Lions Club. Jim and Terri have two Boxer dogs, Tito and Gracie.
