Colm is an Associate Solicitor with J.W. O'Donovan LLP. He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in December 2018, having joined J.W. O'Donovan in October 2015 and completing his training with the firm. Colm primarily works with the firm's property department in relation to all aspects of Commercial Property, Residential Property and Landlord and Tenant matters. Colm also works within our Construction Law department, advising on varying forms of construction contracts. Colm is a member of our know how team, which co-ordinates legal updates to clients.

She has experience in advising on the sale, purchase and leasing of commercial and residential properties. Prior to joining J.W. O'Donovan LLP, Michelle spent a number of years working in-house for a Local Authority in their property and litigation departments. Michelle works closely with John Sheehan in the areas of corporate restructuring, banking and finance, and marine law and advises companies on all aspects of corporate and commercial transactions. Michelle holds both a Bachelor of Civil Law and a Masters in Law from University College Cork. Michelle's Masters in Law focused on the effect of unfair contract terms and personal insolvency laws on possession proceedings in Ireland.

Niamh is an associate solicitor working in the areas of Private Client and Succession as well as Property. She advises clients on all aspects of succession planning, probate, acquisition, disposal, leasing, transferring and financing of residential and agricultural properties.

Patricia Canty is an Associate Solicitor in our Employment and Litigation Departments. Prior to being admitted to the Roll of Solicitors, Patricia spent a number of years in an American litigation-based firm specialising in class action lawsuits involving product liability and personal injury.
Patricia holds degrees in Business Management and Marketing from the University of North Florida and has a keen interest in employment rights, data protection & privacy, and dispute resolution. Upon moving to Ireland, Patricia managed a Cork law firm before shifting her focus to studying law. Now working with J.W. O'Donovan LLP, Patricia's unique background provides beneficial insight into all litigation and employment related matters.
