JONAS BOHATSCH

Jonas Bohatsch is a visual and new media artist from Vienna, Austria. In his work he investigates the conditions and aesthetics of media technologies with a strong focus on algorithmic and digital systems. He also enjoys working on abstract generative visual art inspired by kinetic art, op-art as well as neo geo. His work has been shown at FILE Festival, Sao Paolo, EMAF, Osnabrück as well as A Maze in Berlin and Johannesburg among others. You can also find him lecturing about generative and interactive art as well as heading the Coding Lab, a workshop for all solutions regarding coding in the art & design practice, at the University of Applied Arts, dieangewandte.at, Vienna.
