(KCI) was founded in 1994 by Bill Kemper. Bill worked as a union carpenter for 25 years before establishing Kemper Construction. Bill gained much of his industrial and commercial construction knowledge having worked in many Central Illinois powerhouses for companies such as Babcock and Wilcox Inc., Power Systems, and Riley Stoker as superintendent.
