KIM'S CANINE DESIGN

My name is Kim Hermanson and I am the owner and stylist of Kim's Canine Design. I started my grooming career in 1994 as a bather and groomer assistant at a local grooming shop and knew I found my career choice. In 1996, I was offered an apprenticeship with an international gold medalist, master groomer and grooming competition judge that earned top honors in the grooming industry. I continued working with her for 9 years until she left Wisconsin in 2004 and as a result, opened Kim's Canine Design. In 2009, I started my grooming competition career and earned merit awards and my first placement in the standard poodle class. I am always keeping my skills current by networking and attending seminars. I have 2 years veterinary assistant training and also completed and received current certifications in: AKC Safe Canine Handling, Pet first aid and CPR and Hair and Skin Care.
