KNIGHT MFG

Knight Mfg is a small welding and fabricating shop owned and operated by Jamie (not Jaime) Knight. I started welding back in 1995 while I was taking some machine tool courses at Piedmont Technical College. I owned and operated a BMX bicycle shop at the time (1991 to 2003) and realized I could start making a lot of the shops' fixtures myself such as work benches, bicycle and skateboard display racks, merchandisers, etc., at a substantial savings over purchasing them or having the work done at local welding shops. There isn't a lot of money in bicycle retailing, and you're forced to be as self-sufficient as possible. I really enjoyed fabricating stuff and having the ability to design and make things the way I wanted them, and I ended up with one of the coolest shop setups in my area.
