Chris lives in Wapakoneta, Ohio with his wife Yvonne. They are the parents of 2 children: Harrison and Stephanie. Chris is a graduate of Wapakoneta High School and DeVry Institute of Technology. Chris is owner of Sorenson Insurance Agency in Wapakoneta, Oh specializing in Crop Insurance. Yvonne is employed by Sorenson Insurance Agency. Chris enjoys playing the saxophone in a local string band and buying and fixing up Jeeps.
Erin and her husband Trent live in Maria Stein, Ohio. They are the parents of 4 children: Samuel, Charlie, Stella, and Oliver. Erin is a graduate of Marion Local High School and the University of Dayton. Trent is employed by Procter and Gamble Company, Cincinnati, OH as a Systems Manager. Erin enjoys watching her children's sporting events and singing and playing the piano in the St. Johns Choir.
Jerome and his wife Theresa have been married for 38 years and live in Yellow Springs, OH. They have four children: Dylan, Martin, Samuel and Eileen. Currently, they have four grandchildren. Jerome is a graduate of Ft. Loramie High School and attended Knox College. Theresa is a Certified Nurse Practitioner in the Yellow Springs area. Jerome began with Lamm's Insurance in 1996 and is currently the president of the Yellow Springs Arts Council.
Ryan and his wife Carrie, live in Ft. Recovery. They are the parents of two boys Owen and Kaden. Ryan is a graduate of Ft. Recovery High School and graduated from Wright State University in Management. Ryan is a partner in the Agency. His wife Carrie is employed by Crown Equipment in New Bremen, Ohio as an accountant. In his free time, Ryan enjoys coaching and playing sports with his boys.
Sue and her husband Ken live in Coldwater, Ohio. They are the parents of two children: Jesica (Dan) Hemmelgarn, Burkettsville, OH and Shannon (Keith) Schwieterman, St. Henry, OH. They are the proud grandparents of 4. Sue is a graduate of Coldwater High School. Her husband is employed by Crown Equipment, New Bremen, OH as a KANBAN Coordinator. In their free time, Sue and Ken enjoy spending time with their grandchildren and camping and reading a good book.
Tom and his wife, Joan, live in Fort Recovery, Ohio. They are the parents of three children; Ryan (Carrie) Lamm, Nicole (Roger) Heitkamp, and Eric(Lindsey Wellman) Lamm. Tom became a grandfather for the first time in May of 2010 and now has 8 grandkids. Tom is a graduate of Fort Recovery High School and attended several post graduate schools. He also was Ohio Operations director for a National Farm Organization prior to his insurance career. Tom is co-owner of the agency. His wife is retired from the United States Post Office and is enjoying her time at home with the grandchildren.
Tom Lamm purchased the agency from Henry in 1990. Tom was the sole employee at the time of purchase although Henry acted as his tutor for the first year.
The first location of Lamm's Insurance was 6420 State Route 119, Maria Stein, Ohio. This location was rented space from Marion Mutual Insurance Association. In the first years, Tom had one desk and several filing cabinets, one phone and no computers. As a matter of fact, Marion Mutual used the same desk for some of their meetings. Due to growth after 18 years, it became apparent that both Marion Mutual Insurance and Lamm's Insurance Agency needed more elbow room. This began the search in Marion Township for a place to rent or to build a building for the agency. Land was located in downtown Maria Stein. Ground was broken in May of 2009 and in October 2009, Lamm's Insurance Agency moved to its present location at 8085 State Route 119, Maria Stein, OH.
It soon became apparent additional personnel would be needed due to the continuing growth of the agency. The first secretary of the agency was Jani Lamm. Jani worked for the agency for about one year. Her replacement was Joyce Moeller. Joyce started as a secretary but soon became an additional agent for Lamm's Insurance Agency until she moved on to pursue another career in 2008. In 1996, Jerome Borchers was added as an agent to the agency. Jerome continues representing the agency as an agent in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Again, due to continuing growth, additional personnel were needed. In 1998, Tracy Mescher was added to the agency as a secretary/agent, followed by Erin Huelsman in 2004, Sue Ahrens in 2006, Chris Sorensen in 2010, Tom's son Ryan Lamm in 2011, and most recently Brad 'Pac-Man' Knapke in 2019. In July of 2019, Ryan Lamm became co-owner in the agency. All of the employees are licensed agents representing Lamm's Insurance Agency. All are still employed in some capacity and continue to represent Lamm's Insurance Agency.
Tracy and her husband Mark, live in Maria Stein, Ohio. They are the parents of 6 children: Ryan, Kyle (Darian), Emily, Tyler, Troy, and Brayden. Tracy is a graduate of Marion Local High School. Mark is employed by Precision Strip Inc., Minster as a line supervisor. Tracy enjoys watching her kids play sports and baking wonderful baked goods for the office in her free time!
