About Us Lamanna Engineering Consultants, LLC was founded in 2006 by Tulane University professor Anthony J. Lamanna. Following hurricane katrina, the university made the decision to eliminate all mechanics-based engineering programs, including the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Recognizing the need for quality engineering work, Anthony Lamanna expanded LEC to assist in the efforts to rebuild and revitalize New Orleans and the surrounding area. In 2014, the company was moved to Richmond, KY so that Dr. Lamanna could teach at Eastern Kentucky University, and in 2017 the company was moved to Tempe, AZ so that Dr. Lamanna could teach and run the Del E.
