Bobby Jenkins

Bobby Jenkins is a native of Rutherford County, North Carolina. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Masters in Public Administration with honors from North Carolina State University, and his law degree with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While in law school, Bobby was a member of the North Carolina Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. Bobby was in full-time private practice for 18 years, during which time he handled medical negligence, products liability, workplace injury, serious personal injury, and wrongful death cases across North Carolina. He has argued before both the North Carolina Court of Appeals and Supreme Court and has tried cases in both state and federal court. In 2010, Bobby joined the faculty of the Charlotte School of Law as an Assistant Professor, where he teaches torts, remedies, and advanced litigation classes. He also continues as an adjunct faculty member at the UNC School of Law. Bobby's broader involvement in the legal profession has included service on the North Carolina Bar Association Litigation Section Council, the Trial Practice Curriculum Committee, and the Medico-Legal Liaison Committee. Education Bobby received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Masters in Public Administration with honors from North Carolina State University, and his law degree with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Don Higley

Don Higley joined Lanier Law Group, P.A. in 2010. Don is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received his J.D. Degree from Campbell University's Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in 1994. He was a Dr. John J. Broderick Law Scholar and was Editor-in-Chief of the Campbell Law Review. Before he served as Editor, the Law Review published his article, "Lujan v. Defendants of Wildlife, Slashing and Burning the Law of Environmental Standing." Don concentrates in the areas of medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury. He also has significant experience litigating in a wide variety of areas, including complex business litigation and construction litigation. Don has presented oral arguments in the North Carolina Appellate Courts and the North Carolina Supreme Court. He is admitted to practice in Federal Court and has extensive litigation experience there, including arguing at the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond. Don is admitted to the United States Supreme Court. Don is also a certified mediator. Don is a recognized expert on the subject of automobile insurance coverage. He authored a chapter entitled "Insurance Coverage for Injuries Arising Out of the Use of an Automobile" for the treatise Personal Injury Practice in North Carolina, published by the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. Don is active in the N. C. Advocates for Justice, having served as Chair of the Auto Torts Section, and has lectured in various continuing legal education courses. Lisa Lanier was born in High Point, North Carolina. She received her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Lisa worked as an associate for a large law firm in the Triangle for several years practicing insurance defense. In 1995, she began her own practice concentrating on helping people with all types of injury claims. Since then Lanier Law Group, P.A. has grown to be a practice with locations throughout North Carolina. With 9 offices throughout the state, Lisa can serve all of North Carolina with her personal injury practice. Lisa is widowed and has two children. She has been a long-distance runner for many years and has completed many marathons and one triathlon. She also enjoys travel, snow skiing, golf, and water sports. Will is a longtime member of the Chapel Hill Young Professionals and the Wake County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division Pro Bono Committee. Will spends as much free time as he can in the community, volunteering for local nonprofit organizations such as the Urban Ministries of Durham, Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina, and Habitat for Humanity. Will also enjoys staying up on current events in the news and catching the latest movies in theaters.
