Laura graduated from California State University in Fullerton in 1992, where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. She earned her CPA license while working for a local CPA firm in San Francisco; Burr, Pilger & Mayer. Laura has also been in private industry, where she was the Assistant Controller for a multi-firm leasing company. Later becoming the controller of a restaurant based Internet start up.
