We work under the aegis of the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science and our Board is appointed by the Minister. We also work in close partnership with the Department of Education, the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth and Department for Arts, Tourism Sports. We promote and fund intercultural, collaborative projects between Ireland and other countries. All our work serves to advance national and European policy... Léargas work under the remit of the Department of Further Education, Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science. Our Executive Director reports to a Board appointed by the Minister.
