Ben A. Leppard

Mr. Leppard has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry in the areas of engineering and engineering management. His experience includes domestic and international projects in the commercial and industrial sectors in the industry. The project size for this experience ranges from small, tenant upfit projects to large commercial and industrial facilities. His management experience includes project management for MEP/FP systems, as both a Principal-in-Charge and a Project Manager, for projects as the prime consultant or a sub-consultant. Through this experience, he is knowledgeable about all of the building systems, coordination requirements for MEP/FP systems, and the impact of the MEP/FP systems on construction practices. Ben's engineering experience covers a wide variety of system and project applications. This experience provides him with valuable expertise in all of the MEP/FP engineering disciplines and an ability to evaluate various HVAC system types to maximize the benefits to the Owner. This variety of project and system types has provided him with extensive experience in all types of HVAC systems, including central chilled/hot water systems, water-cooled packaged systems, DX packaged and split system applications, VAV and constant volume air distribution systems, kitchen and laundry exhaust and supply air systems. In addition, he has extensive experience in the design and application of life safety systems, energy conservation methods and indoor air quality evaluations.

Charles V. (Van) Johnson

Mr. Johnson is the founder of Leppard Johnson and Associates, P.C. His career spans over 45 years in the consulting engineering field, focusing on MEP/FP systems design and specializing in tenant improvement design. His experience includes domestic and international projects in the commercial and industrial sectors. Van has been Project Manager and head design professional for an extremely diverse range of projects, ranging from central business district high-rise office buildings in Houston, Denver, San Francisco, Columbus, and Atlanta, to resort hotels in Palm Beach and Aspen, and including major client tenant improvement projects in over 20 cities nationwide. Mr. Johnson is registered to practice engineering in 36 states, the Territory of Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia. He is knowledgeable about many types of the building systems, coordination requirements for MEP/FP systems, and the impact of the MEP/FP systems on construction practices. Van's engineering experience covers a wide variety of system and project applications. This experience provides him with valuable expertise in all of the MEP/FP engineering disciplines. This variety of project and system types has provided him with extensive experience in all types of mechanical systems. In addition, he has extensive experience in the design and application of life safety systems and fire protection. The project types of his experience include senior living, office facilities, assisted living, mausoleums, mixed-use facilities, high-rise facilities, convention centers, hospitality facilities, educational facilities, and industrial complexes. Van stays abreast of current industry trends and technical advances in mechanical and fire protection systems and applications by attending various seminars and education courses. Prior to founding Leppard Johnson and Associates, P.C., in 1995, Mr. Johnson spent 20 years at nationally know engineering firms in Houston and Atlanta. Van serves Rice University as a volunteer recruiter and applicant interviewer, is a member of ASHRAE and Past President of the Atlanta Chapter, and serves as a volunteer Boy Scout Leader. D. Tyge Peacock

Mr. Peacock has over 12 years of experience in the construction industry in the areas of engineering and engineering management. His industry involvement includes domestic projects in the commercial sector. The project size for this experience ranges from small, tenant upfit projects to large commercial facilities. Tyge's engineering experience includes designs for mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. His expertise encompasses multiple system types in each of these areas, including high-rise facilities. In addition, Tyge has extensive project management experience in all of the market segments listed below. Through these management experiences, he has obtained a working knowledge of building components (architectural, structural, etc.) and other building systems (electrical, low voltage systems, etc.). His project experience includes hospitality facilities, office facilities, multi-family, historic/adaptive reuse facilities, residential projects, theatres/entertainment venues, mixed- use facilities, high-rise facilities, educational facilities, and senior living complexes. Roland S. Weekley

Mr. Weekley's work experience spanning over 35 years and includes project management, design and construction administration. Concentration of practice includes both international and domestic projects in electrical design of utility distribution, commercial and industrial projects. Commercial design experience encompasses hospitality, educational facilities, multi-family residential, retail, office, medical, convention and projects. His extensive work experience has afforded the opportunity to gain a working knowledge of civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and telecommunications and construction practices. Either as a project manager or design engineer, this practical experience and broad technical knowledge proves valuable in quickly recognizing a project's potential and boundaries for the employment of different systems within a project. Commercial design and project management expertise he brings to a project can be separated into two distinct topics: Power includes electrical distribution, lighting, and life safety; telecommunications encompasses audiovisual, data, telephone, security and MATV.
