Graduated with an honours degree in law from the University of Hull, England in 1992 and thereafter completed his Certificate in Legal Practice course in August 1993. He then chambered in the firm of Megat Najmuddin, Leong & Co. and was enrolled as an advocate and solicitor in 1995 and was also retained as a legal assistant before leaving to join the firm of Messrs. Meng & Associates as a partner in July 1996. During the course of his practice, he has dealt with a wide range of matters relating to civil and commercial litigation, probate and estate matters, family and matrimonial proceedings, general accident and insurance claims, debt collection, corporate and personal insolvency work, conveyancing and banking matters, and also matters within the corporate field including the disposal and acquisition of shares and companies, shareholder agreements, shareholder and board dispute resolution and also joint ventures.
Graduated with an honours degree in law from the Polytechnic of Wales in 1990 and read in the chambers of Messrs. Megat Najmuddin, Leong & Co. upon completing the Certificate in Legal Practice course in 1991. She subsequently was admitted as an advocate and solicitor in 1992 and was retained by Messrs. Megat Najmuddin, Leong & Co. as a legal assistant where she remained until July 1997 when she resigned to join Melewar Leisure Sdn. Bhd. as their Vice President of Legal Affairs until December 1998. Throughout her practice, she has had the opportunity to handle various corporate, conveyancing and banking matters including, inter alia, the acquisition and disposal of shares, corporate restructuring exercise such as rights and special issues exercise, re-quotation of shares in the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, back-door listing and reverse take-overs, due diligence exercise, joint ventures, franchising and syndicated loans, estate and probate matters.
