Michael Banner is the President and Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the daily operations of the LDC. He has been active in the area of community development finance for the past fifteen (15) years. Prior to becoming active in community development, Michael Banner was a banking executive specializing in commercial lending with several major California banks; additionally, he has an extensive background utilizing public funds to stimulate revitalization in distressed neighborhoods. He is very active in the leadership of the Urban Land Institute and serves on its Board of Trustees and holds the special position of Inner City Advisor. In Los Angeles he chaired the ULI Los Angeles Urban Marketplace real estate conference and expo.
Michael Banner featured in a publication from the Urban Land Institute, "Housing for All" as part of a roundtable to discuss the many different challenges to-and some strategies for-bringing affordable housing and social equity to metropolitan areas. (273 KB, PDF).

Ms. lsago is responsible for the management of administrative and accounting operations for the LDC. She supervises all operations staff and contractors and oversees the support of the LDC's finance, portfolio management and advisory services. Ms. Isago joined the LDC in 1996 and has over ten years administrative management of real estate, business finance, and economic development programs. Prior to her employment at the LDC, she worked in Mayor Riordan's Office of Economic Development and served in an administrative capacity for the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration's Strategic Planning Grant and Minority Business Opportunity Committee. Prior to the Mayor's Office, Ms. Isago worked as an intern with the City of Los Angeles Community Development Department in its Financial Management Division. Ms. Isago graduated from California State University at Los Angeles with a BS in administrative management.
