Elizabeth L. Purcell

Biography Elizabeth joined Lynch & Eatman in July 2018. She is a paralegal with a focus on estate planning and estate administration. Elizabeth attended college at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2017. She then attended Central Piedmont Community College and obtained a Post-Baccalaureate Paralegal Technology Diploma in 2018. That same year Elizabeth obtained her certification as a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal. Elizabeth looks forward to making her mark in the legal arena. On a personal note, Elizabeth enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her dog, Harper. She has been a volunteer for Food Lion Feeds since 2013, where she has participated in several events, such as the CIAA Tournament, the Sort-a-rama events in Charlotte and Raleigh and delivering meals to families of the YMCA of Charlotte. Maria M. Lynch

Maria was an adjunct professor for many years at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill School of Law and has been a Senior Lecturing Fellow at Duke University School of Law. She received her B.A. with high honors from the University of Tennessee and her J.D. with honors from UNC - Chapel Hill. Maria is a frequent speaker on estate planning and ethics issues.

Meghan N. Knight

Meghan was elected and served as Secretary of the Wake County Bar Association and Tenth Judicial District Bar for three consecutive terms from 2016 to 2018. She currently serves on the Wake County Bar Association's Public Service Committee and is Secretary of the North Carolina Bar Association's Minorities in the Profession Committee. She has volunteered with Legal Aid's Lawyer on the Line Program and participates in the North Carolina Bar Association's Call4All program.
