LONGWOOD ANIMAL HOSPITAL - Key Persons
Dr. Anna McBride is a Houston native. She earned her bachelor's degree from Texas A&M in December of 2002, and then she continued onto vet school and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. After graduation, she practiced in and around Houston before deciding to do relief work so that she could spend more time at home with her children. She found her home at Longwood in 2016. Her professional interests are orthopedics and cardiology, but she enjoys all aspects of her veterinary career.
Dr. McBride lives in Cypress with her husband and her three children. They also share their house with an Great Dane and a calico kitten that she adopted from the clinic. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, scuba diving, reading, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Arsola was born and raised right here in the Cypress area! She graduated from Langham Creek High School then went on to complete her undergraduate degree at LSU in Baton Rouge. Geaux Tigers! Dr. Arsola began her veterinarian journey on the beautiful Caribbean island of Grenada at St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine. In the fall of 2016, she was accepted into the School of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) and graduated with honors in 2019.
Dr. Arsola enjoyed practicing at Veterinary Associates in Tulsa, Oklahoma before joining Longwood Animal Hospital in July of 2022. Her professional interests include internal medicine, dentistry and ultrasonography.
Dr. Arsola lives in the Heights with her senior Chihuahua mix, Cheech. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family throughout the Houston area, traveling and exploring new places and writing letters to her various pen pals. Dr. Arsola is so happy to be back home in Texas and looks forward to bonding with her new patients!
Dr. J.T. Gasson grew up in The Woodlands, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in August 2002. He remained at Texas A&M for veterinary school, where he received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in May 2006. After graduation, he practiced in Scottsdale, Arizona for 3+ years before deciding to return home to Texas. He joined Longwood Animal Hospital in December 2009. His professional interests include internal medicine, endocrinology, and dermatology.
Dr. Gasson resides in Cypress with his wife, son, and their two Labs, Abby and Max. Away from the office, Dr. Gasson enjoys playing golf and watching Aggie sports. He regularly attends Aggie football games as a season ticket holder.
Dr. Joyce Li was born and raised in Houston, TX. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biologic Sciences, from Rice University in 2005. She graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2011. She has been in small animal veterinary practice since graduating. She enjoys working with cats and strives to make visits as fear free as possible.
She lives in Westbury with her husband, son, two cats and a dog. Her interests outside of work include aerial arts, rock climbing, crocheting/knitting, cooking, and exploring all the restaurants in Houston.
