Alexandra Perone joined Mackoul Risk Solutions in 2022. Ali graduated from The University of Tampa and misses the Florida sunshine every day. Before joining Mackoul, Ali worked in education for 12 years. Nothing matters more to Ali than her family, friends, and kitties. Ali is outside any chance she gets, loves her yoga practice, meditates often, and absolutely loves live music.

Amanda Petrylka joined the Mackoul Risk Solutions team in 2012 as a Personal Lines Account Manager and moved into the New Business Department in 2015. She received her Broker's License for Property & Casualty in early 2013 and her ACSR designation in 2016.
Her previous work experience includes working as a paralegal for social security disability benefits.
Amanda graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree in Human Services and Sociology. She participates in Susan Komen for the Cure Breast Cancer Walks and enjoys movies, singing, softball, and volleyball.
In 2022, Amanda was named Outstanding CSR of the Year for the State of New York by the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research.
Brice graduated from Molloy College with a bachelors degree in Communications Media. After college, he worked for Endeavor Streaming as a video editor, Supervisor, and Project Manager, working with clients including the NFL, NBA, and NHL on gameday productions. Brice enjoys spending time with friends and family and can be found watching or attending just about any sporting event in his free time.

Cathy Gibson joined Mackoul in 2022. Cathy's career started as a Relationship Manager in the Financial Services industry with JP Morgan Chase. She quickly moved into a Team Leader role managing a Series 7 licensed team of Account Managers for the affluent market. Cathy also worked with the Chase Investment services technology team to assist with designing a sales and service application for the investment business. Cathy was ready for a new challenge that would complement her financial service background, so she transitioned into the insurance industry, where she has over ten years of Account Management experience. She specialized in reviewing and binding insurance policies and took pride in building client relationships and ensuring they were well protected in the event of an unexpected loss. She also has valuable experience determining liability and assessing damage in the auto claims industry. Cathy is licensed to sell and service property and casualty, as well as life and health policies. Cathy also has an Auto Field adjusters license and is a licensed Notary Public. Cathy graduated from Adelphi University with a BS in Business Management. She loves to go to the theater in her spare time.

Cheryl Fitzpatrick started her career in insurance in 1990 working for Mackoul assisting in Personal Lines. She quickly took over the Personal Lines department and then moved to Commercial Lines. She obtained her New York State Brokers license in 1995 and became a Senior Account Manager. She provides guidance and mentors the staff while coordinating with company underwriters, as our Director of Operations/Construction Division.
Mackoul Risk Solutions writes primarily commercial insurance for Co-op and Condominiums in the tristate area and Cheryl handles the more complex and larger accounts. She has developed many long relationships with her clients in her 30 years with Mackoul. She obtained her ACSR designation in 2011 and went on to obtain her CPCU designation in 2015.
Cheryl has been instrumental in mentoring all the younger underwriters in their career and has also been named "Agency Employee of the Year" on numerous occasions. In 2020, she was named Outstanding CSR of the Year for the state of New York.

After receiving an A.S. in Business Marketing from Penn State University, Christina continued her education by pursuing a B.S. in Business Finance from Stony Brook University. She gets the opportunity to share her love for communication and organization and looks forward to exploring the world of insurance through Mackoul Risk Solutions. Christina also loves spending her spare time with friends, family, and her two puppies Parker & Miles!

Cosmo started his career at Mackoul in 2016. He has worked closely with management over the years, but he has really found his niche in the Claims department, while also training in our Accounting department. Cosmo loves to learn all the various components of our office, and with his many talents, there's no telling where he will wind up next!

Courtney Ferretti is the Vice President of Carrier Relations at Mackoul Risk Solutions with over 15 years of insurance industry experience. Courtney has received her Property & Casualty license and ACSR designation during her employment. She is currently pursuing her CPCU designation and has completed six of the classes.
Prior to her employment at Mackoul, Courtney worked in an accounting role in the insurance industry. She also has management experience in the banking industry. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Hofstra University.

Daniel McClure started working at Mackoul as a Commercial Account Associate in 2018. He received his bachelor's degree in Communications from Suny Cortland in 2016. Prior to landing a job at Mackoul, he previously worked as an Assistant in Communication to former NY Mayor Rudolph Guliani.
As for hobbies, he loves playing golf, basketball, running, and really anything that keeps him from staying indoors. Dan loves discovering new music, hanging out with his friends, and spending as much time laughing as possible.

Danielle Klemm joined Mackoul Risk Solutions in 2012 as a Commercial Account Associate. She has risen through the ranks rapidly, being promoted from Account Associate to Remarketing Underwriter to Commercial Account Manager in the Property and Casualty Division, where she managed larger commercial insurance accounts. She joined the Employee Benefits Division in 2015 and holds the title of Account Manager. She is a licensed insurance broker and has managed many of our commercial insurance accounts.
Danielle has earned her New York State Property & Casualty and Life and Health licenses, and has also obtained her Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) designation. She is also a member of the Insurance Professional Association of Long Island (IPALI). She continues to attend continuing education courses to expand her knowledge in the insurance industry.
Danielle's top priority is to provide excellent service to our clients in meeting their insurance needs, as she believes this creates the most successful outcomes.

Donald Schatzle started working at Mackoul as a Commercial Account Associate in 2019 and moved into the Claims Department in 2020. He received his bachelor's degree in History from Queens College. Prior to landing a job at Mackoul, he previously worked at another insurance company as a large loss claims adjuster.
Ebony Guzman joined Mackoul Risk Solutions in 2020. She is a licensed Property and Casualty Broker with 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Starting very young in this industry, she learned the value of teamwork, continuing education, personal growth, and providing our clients with the excellent service they deserve. Her next goal is to obtain a CPCU designation. Ebony enjoys spending time with family and friends, and becoming a mom has been her greatest accomplishment.
In 2023, Ebony was named one of Insurance Journal's Top Account Managers and Customer Service Representative MVPs.

Eric Eggert joined Mackoul Risk Solutions in 2013 as a Commercial Associate and quickly moved into his current role as an Insurance Consultant. He is well versed in all types of insurance and is licensed to sell and service both Property & Casualty Insurance and also Life, Accident, & Health Insurance. Eric is constantly attending insurance seminars to stay up to date on current insurance trends. So far, Eric has earned both a CIC designation (Certified Insurance Counselor) and CIRMS designation (Community Insurance Risk Management Specialist). Next up, Eric plans on furthering his insurance knowledge by pursuing his CPCU designation (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) so that he can continue to educate and inform our clients on their insurance needs. Eric enjoys spending time with his family & friends and is always willing to offer a helping hand to anyone in need.

Gabrielle Fisher is the Vice President of Production and has been with Mackoul since 2007. Gabrielle was integral in the opening of the Florida office and spent a year in there training employees on Systems and Procedures.
Gabrielle graduated from Molloy College and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in English and a Minor in Communications. She holds licenses in both Property & Casualty and Life and Health Licenses. She received her ACSR designation in 2013, and her CPCU designation in 2020.
She enjoys spending time with friends and family and going out to dinner.

Gina Corso holds the title of New Business Account Manager, has a certification in Information Technology and her Property & Casualty License. In 2014, Gina received her ACSR designation.
She has over fourteen years of experience in the insurance industry. Gina previously worked as an Administrative Assistant for a mortgage company and as an Assistant Head Teller at a national bank. Gina enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and relaxing at the beach. She lives on Long Island with her husband and two sons.
Hannah Warriner joined Mackoul in 2022. She graduated from SUNY Oswego in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Creative Writing. She still loves writing on her own time, as well as cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and her dogs.

Jared A. Mackoul joined Mackoul Risk Solutions, in June of 2008 and specializes in the insurances for real estate and hospitality risks in the Tri-State area. Jared is a 2003 graduate of Johnson and Wales University, with a double major in Business and Hospitality. He worked in various management positions in the Hyatt Organization from 2002-2005. He also received a certification from the Alexander and Schmitt School of Engineering and Loss Control in Yarmouth, Maine in 2005. Prior to joining Mackoul, he headed the Life Safety and Loss Control Department for New Empire Group, Ltd., a national insurance program administrator specializing in real estate risks. He brings over a decade of real estate, hospitality expertise and insurance knowledge to his clients.

Jennifer Sherman has been a member of Mackoul Risk Solutions for over 15 years and is the Executive Administrative Coordinator here at Mackoul. During her employment, she has earned her New York State Property & Casualty and Life and Health licenses and her ACSR certification. Jennifer received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business/Marketing from St. Thomas Aquinas College.
Jennifer enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping and relaxing at the beach. She lives on Long Island with her three sons.
Formerly a Registered nurse, Jessica joined the Mackoul team in 2018. She loves spending time with her family, friends, and her dog. In her free time, Jess enjoys the beach, the snow, biking the boardwalk, and family board game nights.

Justin Kraus is the Personal Lines Supervisor and joined Mackoul Risk Solutions in 2013. He has over ten years of sales experience in the insurance industry. Throughout his insurance career, he has won several awards for continued excellence in sales and customer service. Justin has his Life Insurance License and is actively pursuing his CIC designation.
Justin studied at Pohs Insurance Institute and earned his Broker's License in Property & Casualty. He received a Marine Mechanics Degree from Universal Technical Institute in Orlando, Florida and received his Captain's License at Nautical School of Maritime Licensing.
His personal interests include boating, fishing, outdoor sports, and wake boarding. He also participates in community service for the Lupus Foundation of America and the Walk to End Lupus.

Kara Ryan joined Mackoul Risk Solutions in 2021 as a Benefits/Personal Lines Associate and soon transitioned to heading our Homeowner's Monitoring department. She comes to Mackoul with experience in both employee benefits and property management. Kara has an A.S. in Business Marketing from St. John's University.
She enjoys the beach, having dinner with friends, and spending time with her husband and three sons.

Kate joined Mackoul in 2022. She graduated from Loyola University Maryland, with a BA in communications and then went to live and work in the city in the PR and Fashion world before going into sales with The Weather Channel. Kate received her Masters from Lehman College in Special Education In Therapeutic Recreation in 2010 and went to work in the healthcare field as the Director of Activities for a retirement community and skilled nursing facility on the north shore. In 2018, she became a Licensed Sales Agent for Personal Lines, where she learned all things insurance. Kate loves traveling, the beach, cooking (and eating), and spending time with her husband and son.
Kerry Tobin graduated Queens college with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. Before joining Mackoul, she worked as an ABA Instructor for Autistic Children and as a claims processor for another insurance company. Summer is her favorite season and she tries to spend as much free time by the pool or playing beach volleyball.
Kiera O'Connor joined the marketing team at Mackoul in 2017, after working in the healthcare industry for several years. She graduated with her Bachelor's degree in marketing from Siena College.
She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, crafting, music, and hitting the beach.
Lauren previously worked in the healthcare industry but felt ready for a new challenge, which led her to Mackoul. Lauren began as a Commercial Account Associate in 2018, received her ACSR designation in 2019, and received her Property & Casualty License in 2020. After receiving her license, Lauren worked as an underwriter in the Remarketing Department for two years, and in early 2022, she became a Commercial Account Manager. She loves serving our insureds!

Lauren Tolan joined Mackoul Risk Solutions as a Commercial Lines Associate in 2015. Lauren is a graduate of Valley Stream South High School and studied liberal arts and early childhood education at Nassau Community College. Before joining Mackoul, Lauren worked as a pre-school teacher and in the insurance industry for a major insurer underwriting group dental insurance. She is an avid athlete, being a long-distance runner, and skier.

Elizabeth Cornell joined Mackoul in 2015 as a Commercial Account Associate. Due to her prior Personal Lines experience as a GEICO Claims Service Representative, she was quickly moved up to Personal Lines Account Manager in 2016. Elizabeth obtained her Property and Casualty Insurance License in 2016 from On-Site Insurance School after graduating from SUNY Albany in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She recently moved into a new position as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. Liz services existing clients and answers coverage questions with all the care & compassion you'd want for your business. She strives for excellence and takes pride in her strengths in customer service and coverage/policy transparency.
