Alec is a family-oriented, passionate entrepreneur that serves as a vital Shared Services leader within the Finance and Accounting team at ISG. His leadership style, natural client-centric mindset, and data analysis capabilities directly contribute to a wide range of decisions for the firm, all of which focus on ways to make better and more informed decisions, faster. As a former Commercial Loan Officer within the banking industry, Alec's prior experience assessing business risk, analyzing cash flow, and formulating internal valuations plays a critical role in the firm's acquisition strategies. Supporting ISG's culture through responsiveness and accountability, additional leadership efforts have led Alec to play pivotal roles in the firm's 2017 ESOP transition and launch of new internal software aimed at improving daily workflow, invoicing efficiencies, and workforce-related data. As a proud University of St. Thomas graduate, Alec's poise and humble personality have also led him into numerous leadership roles within the Greater Mankato region.

Since starting as an intern, Andy has been a driven and forward-thinking member of the ISG team. As the leader of ISG's Bloomington office, he guides the firm's continued growth in the Twin Cities and across the region. Andy's focus on building trusting client relationships through responsive and innovative civil engineering design has played a major role in the firm's continued growth, as his ability to deliver results and versatility in civil design are next to none. Andy brings a comprehensive perspective to each project, leading a broad range of market services from transportation and athletic facilities, to drainage studies and new construction site work. The list below is just a small sample of Andy's diverse market-based specialties: Athletic and recreational projects on a variety of facilities including football fields, multi-purpose fields, softball and baseball fields, and track and field event facilities. Brad Penar

Providing structural analysis, design, and construction administration, Brad works on a broad range of projects across ISG's 12 business units. His expertise includes building condition studies, structural failure investigations, footing and foundations design, and building framing systems. Whether new construction or renovation, Brad has the skills to analyze and perform precise calculations to ensure structures are sized appropriately for the loading. His design approach is to work through several preliminary structural systems to problem-solve and identify optimal solutions for different project scenarios. Often working with multiple stakeholders and design partners, he is able to break down complex technical information and offer focused solutions to keep projects moving forward. Priding himself as a life-long learner, Brad leverages his curiosity by tackling new projects with vigor and identifying ways to apply current industry advancements to projects. As Structural Practice Group Leader, he takes a hands-on management approach, leading by example, and sharing lessons learned with his team when presented with new structural challenges.

Highlighting his innovative leadership, Bryan embraced sustainable design early by earning his LEED Professional Accreditation, and promoted Building Information Modeling technology well before either became industry standards. His dedication to constant improvement has facilitated high-performance building projects for clients across the Midwest. Bryan's leadership within both his community and profession is highly regarded by colleagues and clients alike. Serving in leadership roles for numerous boards and organizations, Bryan is always seeking ways to better himself as a professional, a characteristic highlighted when he served as President of AIA Minnesota, Minneapolis Chapter, the first architect from Greater Minnesota to lead the organization.

Chuck Brandel

As Vice President and internationally recognized Agriculture leader, he holds a strong reputation for maximizing value while delivering forward-looking results. Chuck's value as a project partner is exemplified in his ability to work closely with owners, government officials, and contractors, which enables ISG to develop creative design solutions that fulfill a myriad needs. Through agricultural drainage leadership, Chuck is a strong advocate for environmental and agricultural sustainability, which he helps clients achieve through a collaborative approach to responsible land stewardship. His experience in civil design has also led to direct practice group and mentorship positions within the firm. Dan Stueber

In addition to being a professional land surveyor, Dan is a licensed civil engineer that provides unique expertise and perspective to the industry. With over 20 years of experience, Dan leads ISG's Land Survey Group, and manages a staff of accomplished surveyors, technicians, and project managers. Dan has been active in in the Professional Land Surveying Community in various ways; sharing his expertise, collaborating with other professionals, growing his professional network, and promoting the industry. As an active member of the Minnesota Society of Professional Surveyors (MSPS), Dan served as a Director, President Elect, President, and worked on a committee to update the Common Interest Community (CIC) Plat Manual, which is a statewide guidebook for surveyors. Dan continues his involvement with MSPS by serving on the Events Committee, which is involved with planning various continuing education events for the organization and has been a speaker at annual meetings. Dan's experience provides a solid understanding of the considerations that should be discovered during a land survey and how they may affect the eventual engineering and design of the site. He has also been instrumental in the adoption of 3D Laser Scanning technology within ISG. This valuable tool is widely used in a variety of applications, including facility management, as-built drawings, historic building surveys and analysis, and numerous other project applications. Dan's specialized abilities help ISG's clients achieve the best possible results in the development of their site.
