Adam Bitely

Adam Bitely brings more than 15 years of experience in strategic communications, public policy, digital marketing and political advertising and messaging to Martin Waymire. Having worked for six years in the Michigan Senate, where he served as digital media director for the Senate Republicans, Adam joined Martin Waymire where he leads strategic communication planning for his clients. Adam's experience in the public policy arena has contributed to award-winning work for the Michigan Infrastructure and Transportation Association, helping them to elevate the need for increased funding to fix Michigan's roads. His efforts have also been recognized in helping to organize the successful Michigan EITC Coalition, which after many years of hard work, increased Michigan's earned income tax credit from 6% to 30% in March of 2023. Adam also leads strategic communications, earned media support, social media strategy, and coalition building efforts for Michigan Future, Inc., the Michigan Alliance for Student Opportunity, the Virginia Association of Nurse Anesthetists, and more. He has worked on many policy issues including education, health care, infrastructure, and placemaking. Prior to joining Martin Waymire, Adam has worked on political campaigns at all levels, from county offices to presidential campaigns - and everything in between. In 2018, he oversaw the digital campaign efforts for the Michigan Senate Republicans and played a key role in developing messaging and strategy for the caucus during the election cycle. Prior to making Michigan home in early 2015, Adam lived in Alexandria, Va., where he worked with political organizations on developing their digital presence. Adam attended George Mason University where he studied economics and government.

Allie Goetz

Allie Goetz is a senior at Michigan State University majoring in communication leadership & strategy with a minor in public relations. At MSU, Allie is a student section leader for the men's ice hockey team on campus. As a leader, she maintains the social media accounts for the section, creates hype surrounding gamedays, and engages with the student body. This position has taught Allie to take a strategic approach to every aspect of social media management. She has learned a lot about the styles of posts that do best on each social media platform, how to format different posts, and how to best engage with the section's audience. Allie has helped the student section create a stronger, more impactful social media presence and reach new levels of engagement with their target student audience. In her free time, Allie enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and cooking & baking.

Andie Poole

Andie Poole is a strategic marketing communications professional with more than 18 years of experience and a background in the technology sector, higher education, and government relations. Andie serves as a triple threat, bringing to the table a strong writing repertoire, strategic social media and digital marketing expertise, and the ability to lead multiple projects and deliver results. Andie has served as the lead consultant on the I Vaccinate campaign to boost childhood immunization rates in Michigan, which received the 2020 Silver Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of America - the top PR award in the nation. With support from the Franny Strong Foundation and Michigan Health & Hospital Association, Andie helped secure a grant from the Michigan Health Endowment Fund to extend the work of the I Vaccinate campaign to create a toolkit for providers to have conversations with vaccine-hesitant parents. Andie also works with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services on its COVID-19 response and flu vaccination campaigns, Michigan's University Research Corridor and Business Leaders for Michigan, among other clients. Prior to joining Martin Waymire, Andie served as a product marketing manager at TechSmith Corporation and led projects ranging from writing customer stories to managing website content and global marketing strategy for TechSmith products. A Spartan through and through, Andie earned her bachelor's degree in English and master's degree in public relations from Michigan State University. She continued to support the university early in her career, serving as alumni relations coordinator for MSU's College of Communication Arts & Sciences, where she guided efforts of the college's alumni association and board to engage alumni and donors. Andie and her husband Andrew live in East Lansing with their daughters Elliot (9) and Mara (5), and dogs Einstein and Edison. She loves singing and playing the guitar and ukulele, biking (especially on M-119 in northern Michigan) and cheering on the Michigan State Spartans and Detroit Red Wings.

Andrea Kerbuski - VP

It's all in the details with Andrea as she brings her project management and account management skills to her client teams. She specializes in communications strategy planning and project management and diligently follows the Martin Waymire RACE approach: research, action plan, communicate and evaluate. Andrea is passionate about her work in health care ranging from her work with health plans to health technology and hospitality work from statewide campaigns to restaurant launches. She pioneered Martin Waymire's successful social media influencer program, most notably for the I Vaccinate campaign, which works to boost childhood immunization rates in Michigan and MDHHS COVID campaigns. Andrea leads clients such as Michigan Association of Health Plans and Michigan Health Information Network. She previously served as director of public relations for a healthcare company, Olympia Group, where she successfully launched a rebranding effort that included refreshed branding, website redesign, streamlined internal and external communications and regional advertising campaigns. In addition to her work as public relations director at Olympia Group, Andrea has served as chief communications officer for Capital Area Michigan Works! where she led communications efforts for mid-Michigan initiatives to raise awareness of workforce development services and programs. In 2013, she was a recipient of the Lansing Regional Chamber's 10 Over the Next Ten award, recognizing local young professionals in Greater Lansing. Andrea holds an undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and a master's degree in integrated marketing communications from Eastern Michigan University.

Angela Minicuci

Having spent almost a decade leading communications for the largest state government agency in Michigan, Angela possesses a solid understanding of how public policy is made and implemented using sound and effective research, stakeholder engagement, and strategic public relations. Angela's experience in the public health industry has contributed to Michigan's award-winning I Vaccinate campaign, extending this success into a project focused specifically on supporting healthcare providers in conversations with vaccine hesitant families. She also leads communication strategic, earned media and stakeholder relations work on clients in additional industries such as the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services, Michigan Health & Hospital Association, Michigan Virtual, Steelcase Foundation, and more. Prior to coming to Martin Waymire, Angela managed communications at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, where she served as spokesperson, led crisis communication efforts and coordinated the proactive communication planning for health and human services-focused campaigns. Prior to her work in state government, she served as communication coordinator for the Michigan Association of Counties supporting local government public policy advocacy communications. Angela is a proud graduate of Michigan State University where she received her B.A. in communication with a specialization in public relations. She received her Accreditation in Public Relations in 2018 and her Crisis Communication Certification in 2019 from the national Public Relations Society of America. Bridgette Bauer

Charlotte Taylor

As a creative & digital manager, Charlotte leads the strategic social media strategy, content creation, and organic and paid social media campaigns for a variety of clients, including Michigan's University Research Corridor, the Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Association, and the International Safe Transit Association. With a keen eye for design, Charlotte excels in creating compelling graphics for digital campaigns and printed materials to raise awareness and increase public understanding of important issues around the state. Charlotte joined Martin Waymire in 2020 as a graduate of Michigan State University, where she received her B.S. in advertising management and a minor in public relations. Prior to coming to Martin Waymire, Charlotte served as a social media and marketing intern for the City of Lansing, where she implemented marketing campaigns for the $12 million Extreme Makeover project to transform Lansing's parking system. She worked closely with Lansing Mayor Andy Schor's communications team, where she gained valuable experience in public policy communications and social media management.

Dave Solce

Dave Solce brings over a decade of diverse marketing and public relations experience for national brands, associations and local causes. David Waymire

Combine a love of winning and profound interest in government with a driving desire to make Michigan a better place for everyone - David Waymire brings all that and more to his position as one of the founders of Martin Waymire. David is known around the state for his focus on results - for his clients and for Michigan. A strong believer in letting competitive capitalism drive the economy while supporting adequate funding to allow government to provide vital public services critical to a knowledge economy, David has worked with Michigan's largest corporations and most important public sector entities alike. He is particularly proud of Martin Waymire's work as a lead consultant on the ballot proposal that ended partisan gerrymandering by setting up an independent citizens redistricting commission. David graduated from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, and won awards for investigative reporting, deadline writing and political coverage during his 12 years reporting from southern Illinois, Flint and Lansing. He moved into public relations in 1990, and has received numerous state and national awards for strategizing and implementing issue management and communication plans on some of the most contentious issues in the state, including battles against monopolies in trucking, telecommunications, energy and health care. He also has managed casino marketing and branding campaigns, along with several statewide ballot proposals. In 2003, he received the top national award issued by the Public Relations Society of America, the "Best of Silver Anvil," for his work with Michigan's universities and business organizations leading a ballot proposal to ensure state lawmakers maintained control over the state's tobacco settlement. In 2013, the Central Michigan Public Relations Society of America named David ‘PACE Maker of the Year', recognizing his significant contributions to the profession, including mentoring young professionals. Following his retirement at the end of 2022, David can be found spending time with his daughter, Emma, her husband, Jarrett, and his grandson, Kai Marshall, in Colorado, fishing around the country and enjoying live music in bars and concert venues wherever he can.

Hannah Lupi

Hannah came to Martin Waymire from Destination Ann Arbor, the tourism marketing organization and visitors bureau for Washtenaw County, where she learned how using strategic communication, community engagement, and public relations can bring people and communities together. Her previous experience includes working with various organizations across the state, including the Michigan Retailers Association's Buy Nearby campaign and the Michigan Democratic Party. Born and raised in East Lansing, Michigan, Hannah now resides in downtown Detroit. She loves spending time with her dog, Ollie, and is a lover of all things Pure Michigan. Hannah serves on the board for the Central Michigan Public Relations Society of American and volunteers her time with Downtown Lansing and the Detroit Economic Club. Josh Hovey

Josh Hovey joined Martin Waymire after nearly 12 years at Lansing-based strategic communications firm Truscott Rossman, where he served as vice president. In that capacity, he managed communications strategy and client service for organizations ranging from small local non-profits to Fortune 500 corporations. Josh is a nationally accredited communications professional who is adept in strategic planning, media relations, digital media and crisis communications. He is perhaps best known for his work serving as communications director for the successful 2018 campaign to legalize recreational marijuana in Michigan and then following up that campaign by launching the Michigan Cannabis Industry Association in 2019. From 2008 to 2018, he also managed communications for the Coalition Protecting Auto No-Fault's effort to reform the state's auto insurance system in a way that would protect catastrophically injured auto accident survivors. From 2006 to 2008, he was an assistant to Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero where he managed constituent relations and developed environmental and economic policy initiatives for the administration. Josh has earned his Accreditation in Public Relations, certifying his professionalism and ethics, and his mentorship for younger professionals in the field. In 2018, Josh was recognized with the PACE Maker of the Year award, the highest individual honor from the Public Relations Society of America Central Michigan Chapter. In addition to his role at Martin Waymire, Josh also serves on several local boards including the city of Lansing Planning Commission, the Lansing Board of Zoning Appeal and the Lansing Regional Chamber Political Action Committee. Kamryn Johnson

Kamryn joined Martin Waymire as a communications strategist after graduating from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where he received his bachelor's degree in communications with a minor in music and a certificate of public relations. Kamryn leads strategic social media and earned media efforts, ensuring that each client's voice is heard by their audiences across Michigan. As a communications strategist, he develops social and earned media strategies and messaging while providing support for a variety of client teams, including the Steelcase Foundation, the Michigan Education Special Services Association, and the Hospitality Training Institute of Michigan. Kamryn is based in Detroit, but that doesn't stop him from driving to the office or around the state for client events when needed. Born and raised in Detroit, Kamryn has lived all over the metro Detroit area. When Kamryn is not working, he loves to spend time with his friends, listen to music, play the newest video game, and add a new vinyl to his collection.

Katie Jesaitis

Katie Jesaitis joined Martin Waymire as a graduate of Michigan State University with dual bachelor's degrees in political science and history. Driven to impact communities through her work in the education, healthcare, and technology and mobility spaces, Katie works every day to encourage community growth and development here in Michigan. As a public affairs manager, Katie brings more than ten years of experience in strategic communications, public policy, political advocacy and messaging, and coalition building to her clients at Martin Waymire. Her efforts have led to successful enrollment and participation campaigns for the Hospitality Training Institute of Michigan, encouraging Michiganders to build the critical skills that make hospitality a leading, $44.6 billion dollar industry for Michigan. Katie also works with the Steelcase Foundation, Hemlock Semiconductor, Launch Michigan, and the Virginia Association of Nurse Anesthetists, among others. Prior to joining Martin Waymire, Katie spent six years in the office of United States Representative Debbie Dingell, where she worked on the issues that mattered most to Washtenaw and Wayne County residents. Katie has worked on political campaigns at all levels, and has built coalitions of support around environmental issues, addressed domestic and sexual violence in communities and on campus, and worked with industry leaders as they chose to invest and develop here in Michigan. Mariam Robinson - CCO

Mariam Robinson is a strategic association and public policy professional with close to 17 years of experience in government relations and association management. Mariam wears many hats to get the job done, particularly triaging projects and putting her writing skills to use for clients and team members. Her career has taken her into the worlds of physicians and nurses, infrastructure and transportation, corporations and the Michigan legislature. As a director of public relations, Mariam works with several client teams to spearhead project management, conduct earned media efforts, and produce other marketing and communications materials as needed to help clients achieve their strategic public relations goals. She works with Climate Power, Michigan Association of Health Plans (MAHP), Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, Steelcase Foundation, and University Research Corridor (URC), among others. Before joining Martin Waymire, Mariam spent the last ten plus years as Director of Membership Engagement & Advocacy for an association management company, as Board Relations Liaison for a large corporate enterprise, as well as Director of Strategic Affairs for the Michigan Infrastructure & Transportation Association (MITA). In 2016, Mariam was named a Rising Leader by the Michigan Society of Association Executives (MSAE). Mariam is a proud graduate of Michigan State University's James Madison College, where she received a bachelor's degree in international relations, and the College of Communication Arts & Sciences, where she received a bachelor's degree in journalism. Megan Stefl

Megan Stefl is a recent graduate of Michigan State University where she received a bachelor's degree in public relations with a minor in leadership of organizations. As a Communications Strategist, Megan supports strategic communications efforts for a variety of clients, ensuring that the plan and tactics strategically and effectively achieve the goal at hand. With a focus on healthcare communications, she works with the Michigan Association of Health Plans, I Vaccinate campaign, MSU Health & Wellbeing, Michigan Health & Hospital Association, Agile Defense and more. Before joining Martin Waymire as a full-time staff member, Megan worked as a student practitioner beginning in 2023. In this role, she learned the ropes of the agency and strengthened her talents in public relations. During her internship, she further developed her writing skills and discovered her passion for work in the healthcare industry. Outside of work, Megan enjoys Michigan summers on the lake, playing pickleball, watching reality TV and drinking Diet Coke.

Randy Hannan

Randy has worked in and around Michigan's public sector for the last three decades. He served as a legislative aide, policy director and chief of staff during his 14-year tenure in the Michigan Senate, then worked in Lansing's city government for 12 years as executive assistant to the mayor, chief of staff and communications director. His work in municipal government gives him especially keen insight into the challenges and opportunities facing Michigan's cities. Randy joined Martin Waymire in 2021 after three years with Sustainable Strategies DC, a Washington-based lobbying firm, where he helped client communities, regional organizations and public utilities in multiple states secure federal grants to promote economic and community development. He also served for three years as director of operations for the Capital Area Manufacturing Council and has managed strategy and tactics for numerous political campaigns in Michigan from county commissioner to governor. Long before the Flint Water Crisis, Randy played a central role in the effort to proactively remove the lead pipes from Lansing's residential water system. In 2016, with support from the Martin Waymire public relations team, he led a successful effort to create Flint's lead pipe remediation program and secure more than $250 million in state and federal funding for the beleaguered city. Randy is a graduate of Michigan State University's James Madison College, where he studied international relations and economics. An avid photographer, outdoor enthusiast and longtime Michigan resident, he and his wife Amy live in Lansing, where they enjoy gardening, collecting antiques and raising monarch butterflies.

Roger Martin

Once named Michigan's "Best Reporter," Roger moved from a high-powered position in big-city journalism to become one of Michigan's most respected public relations practitioners Top regional and national awards - including three national Silver Anvils and multiple "Best of Shows" - for writing, research, and campaign planning and execution decorate his walls. Roger is a 1981 graduate of Michigan State University, where he also taught journalism for about a decade and in 2020 was named an "Outstanding Alumnus" of the College of Communications Arts and Sciences for a career of success. While a reporter and bureau chief at The Detroit News, he won numerous awards, including three Pulitzer Prize nominations by the paper. He co-authored "The Journey of John Engler," a 1990 book about then-state Sen. John Engler's upset of heavily favored incumbent Gov. James J. Blanchard. He appeared as a journalist commentator on radio and TV political and issue programs across the state. Roger specializes in issue management, media relations, crisis communications and community relations. He has provided winning counseling and services to corporations of all sizes, trade associations, coalitions and individuals. His areas of expertise include healthcare, tax policy, the state legislature and governor, electric utility communications, casino gaming, ballot question campaign planning and management, local government issues, and more. A husband and father of three beautiful daughters and one granddaughter, Roger is also at home at the steering wheel of fast cars and the fretboard of hot guitars. To be able to enjoy time with his family, cars, and guitars, Roger retired from Martin Waymire at the end of 2021.

Stacy Anderson

Stacy Anderson is the backbone of the Martin Waymire operation. Joining Martin Waymire in 2006 with over 20 years of experience in business administration, Stacy works hard to make sure our team has what they need to succeed, and the logistics of our office run smoothly. Prior to coming to Martin Waymire, she worked as the executive assistant in the Dental Supply field. Stacy is experienced in a variety of environments with expertise in administrative support, organization and customer service. As the office manager at Martin Waymire, Stacy is the liaison for client and vendor accounting departments, and employee benefits, coordinates human resources programs and policies and keeps the office up and running. Stacy lives in Williamston with her husband. She is a proud mother of two and grandmother of two and enjoys heading up north, gardening, reading, boating, and traveling in her free time.
