Christian McCullum

Christian is a registered architect who has over 20 years professional experience. He commenced working in this practice in 2001 and was appointed as an Associate in 2003 and Director in 2005. Specialising in conceptual design, Christian has a passion for translating a client's aesthetic and functional requirements into an innovative, well-resolved design. He also has proven expertise in feasibility studies, construction documentation, contract administration and project management and seeks to foster cohesive and proactive project team on each project. He takes pride in ensuring continuity and open communication is maintained at all stages of the project. Christian has worked on a variety of projects in the private residential, multi-unit housing, education and commercial sectors, including numerous multi-million dollar projects. His future focus is on expanding McCullum Ashby's mixed use and commercial portfolio. Christian has been registered since 2005 and is a full member of the Australian Institute of Architects. He has been President of the Wahroonga Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Development Control Review Panel for a local council.

Gabrielle Correa

Gabrielle joined McCullum Ashby Architects in 2022. She has worked in international practices on residential and commercial projects in the concept and design development phases. Gabrielle is creative and enjoys creating highly appealing and interesting designs. Her academic studies include B. Architecture & Urbanism and D. Project Management.

ILEANA WILSON

Ileana joined McCullum Ashby Architects in 2018. She has worked in both local and international practices on a wide scope of projects including single residential, commercial, industrial, retail and residential care facilities. Ileana has run her own practice for over 10 years. She has a passion for bespoke high-end residential projects and strives to achieve a high quality design that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. She enjoys working with different materials and finishes, and she aims to deliver projects that are special and unique. Her academic studies include Bachelor in Architecture and she has been a Registered Architect in NSW since 2009. Outside work, Ileana is a passionate cook and she enjoys spending time with her family or renovating and decorating houses.

JULIANA HEUSER

Juliana joined McCullum Ashby Architects in mid-2017. She has worked in international practices on single, multi-residential and commercial projects, as well as on interior design projects. Along with her experience in research, and valuing high quality built work and detailing, Juliana has a passion for delivering projects that meet the needs of people, and that can contribute to the improvement of urban spaces. Her academic studies include B.Architecture & Urb Design (Hons) and M.Urb Plan (Res).

Murray Ashby

Murray is a Director of McCullum Ashby Architects. Murray has over 20 years' experience in the architectural profession and during this time has designed and project managed numerous commercial, retail together with single and multi-residential projects. Murray has extensive experience in managing Council applications, the preparation of detailed construction document, managing the project team and has acted as contracts administrator on numerous construction projects. Murray's focus in the practice is residential, retail and healthcare projects as well as the day to day management of the business. His academic studies have included Architecture (Hons) (uSyd.), Science (uSyd) and more recently studies in project management. Murray is a registered architect with the NSW Architect's registration board. When not devoting his time to architecture Murray's life is always absorbed by his two young children and whenever time permits, a trip away skiing.
