Karen D. McGuire

Karen McGuire, the founding member of the firm, has been practicing law in the State of New York since 1986, devoting her entire professional career to the zealous representation of litigants in the area of matrimonial and family law. She is a long-standing member of the Suffolk County Bar Association having been past chair of the Family Law Committee, past president of the Suffolk County Matrimonial Bar Association and present board member. She is also a current member of the Judicial Screening Committee which screens possible candidates for judicial nomination. This select committee is responsible for interviewing prospective judicial candidates to determine whether they are, indeed, qualified to hold office. Additionally, Ms. McGuire is a co-founder of Every Child's Dream, a non-profit organization which provides food for the homeless and underprivileged children in her area. Every Child's Dream seeks to introduce homeless, economically disadvantaged and vulnerable youth in their community to cultural, athletic and social events that they may not encounter as a result of their socioeconomic circumstance.

Patricia A. Condon

Patricia Condon, admitted in both the State of New York and Connecticut, has been practicing law since 1989, predominantly in the field of matrimonial and family law. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Condon was a Registered Nurse, and, with her experience in the medical profession, she began her legal career in the field of medical malpractice. She then was appointed as a Principal Law Clerk to the Honorable Donald Blydenburgh, a New York State Supreme Court Justice sitting in a Matrimonial Part in Suffolk County. She held this position in the Matrimonial Part for five years before joining Karen McGuire in 2000 and forming McGuire Condon P.C. Since that time, Ms. Condon has gained a reputation as a skilled and compassionate litigator specializing in all matrimonial and family law matters. Like her partner Karen D. McGuire, Patricia continues to be an experienced leader of the Suffolk County Matrimonial Bar and is a past president of the Matrimonial Bar Committee for Suffolk County. She is invited often to lecture on family law issues for both the Suffolk and Nassau County Bar Associations and mentors young attorneys interested in divorce law.
