Ian strives to ensure he delivers added value to his clients by combining innovative thinking, community involvement and a personal drive for excellence and results. Ian assists the clients of McLean and Associates through a wide combination of knowledge, experience and a wide network of professional associates. His 15 + years of experience in Executive and Board positions have been valuable to organizations in the Public, Private and Not-For-Profit Sectors. Ian is presently President/CEO of the Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce (GKWCC). One of the largest Chambers in the country, with over 1800 members and a full time staff of 16, Ian leads this dynamic and influential community organization. The GKWCC serves its members with networking and educational programs, innovative member rewards and many advocacy initiatives. During Ian's career, he has held a variety of senior level positions both professionally and in volunteer roles. Ian has performed strategic job functions with many organizations and as an external consultant through his consulting firm. Some of the organizations he has been involved include: The Region of Waterloo Community Safety & Crime Prevention Council, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, Knox Session, Paul Puncher Clothier, Labatt Brewery, Lakeport Brewery and a number of charitable organizations.
