Colin V. Ram

Colin represents individuals and families in a wide range of trial-level tort, civil rights, and fraud cases. He has successfully represented clients in complex litigation involving novel issues of law and challenging discovery issues. Because the nature of his practice often requires him to tackle difficult legal problems other lawyers shy away from, he brings to each case a level of determination and creativity to help seek out a just result for his clients.

H. Cooper Wilson, III - CEO

Cooper Wilson is the managing partner of McLeod Law Group, LLC. He is AV rated through Martindale-Hubbell. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for his work in Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs. Cooper is also a Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an invitation-only national organization of experienced trial lawyers and judges. He has been listed as a Rising Star by South Carolina Super Lawyers since 2013. He has extensive civil litigation and trial experience and handles automobile, tractor trailer, and general negligence cases.

John D. Hudson

John Hudson joined McLeod Law Group in March 2020. Before then, he spent the first 19 years of his legal career with two prominent and highly regarded defense firms in Columbia, where he gained extensive and invaluable experience defending and trying cases throughout the state. John has handled a vast range of cases over his career ranging from automobile and trucking accidents, to premises and products liability, to wrongful death, to insurance bad faith, to misrepresentation, fraud, and unfair trade practices, to defamation, to nursing home abuse and neglect, to medical and legal malpractice, to will and trust litigation. He also has significant experience handling insurance coverage litigation involving numerous types of policies, both primary and excess. Simply put, John was an insurance defense lawyer prior to joining McLeod Law Group.

Lucy Grey McIver

Lucy Grey joined McLeod Law Group in April, 2023 after spending twenty years litigating cases at the local, state and federal level. She gained a breadth of experience in complex business litigation and handling high profile cases with millions of dollars at stake. While working in-house, Lucy Grey was immersed in the legal and business side of large companies, handling multi-faceted matters in health, insurance, contracts, antitrust, intellectual property and regulatory areas. A proven community leader and advocate, Lucy Grey chairs the South Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities Board, collaborating with the twenty-one member institutions, government lobbying and fundraising. She is a graduate of the Riley Institute at Furman's Diversity Leaders Initiative. Her previous board memberships include SC Defense Trial Attorneys' Association, Sumter Police Chief's Community Liaison Board and Trustus Theatre. A native of Sumter, South Carolina, Lucy Grey received her earliest legal training from the Third Circuit Solicitor's Office, as a high school intern. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received the degrees of Bachelor of Arts with Honors and Master of Fine Arts in Acting. She attended the University of South Carolina School of Law and received her Juris Doctor, cum laude. While in law school, Lucy Grey was a member of the South Carolina Law Review, Order of the Coif, Order of Wig and Robe and the Pro Bono Board. She received the Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award for her work with a local elementary school mentoring program. Lucy Grey was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2002, the District Court of South Carolina in 2003 and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in 2004. Lucy Grey lives in Sumter with her husband, Ben, and son, Benjamin. She has two daughters, Waverly and Lucy, who attend college in Chapel Hill, NC and New York, NY. She and her family are members of the Church of the Holy Comforter, where Lucy Grey previously served on the Vestry. Lucy Grey is an experienced corporate litigator who joined McLeod Law Group in April, 2023. In her first twenty years of practice, Lucy Grey handled a variety of matters including high profile, complex litigation matters with millions of dollars at stake. Lucy Grey now brings her diverse experience to her current personal injury practice where she focuses on helping people in her hometown.

Nicholas A. Charles

Nick joined McLeod Law Group in April 2023. Prior to joining MLG, Nick was a partner at one of the largest law firms in South Carolina, where he spent nearly seven years defending large companies as an appellate lawyer and commercial litigator. He previously served as a judicial law clerk for Justice John C. Few on the South Carolina Supreme Court and South Carolina Court of Appeals. Nick now uses the skills and experience he developed on the defense side of the bar to serve injured individuals and families. Nick was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, before attending Miami University and the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2014 and was a member of the Order of the Coif and Order of Wig and Robe. During law school, Nick was an articles editor for the South Carolina Law Review. Nick was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2014, the Georgia Bar in 2016, the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina in 2016, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in 2017, and the Georgia Court of Appeals in 2019. Nick is a member of the American Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division, and the Richland County Bar Association. He was named by his peers to the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America 2023 list for commercial litigation. Nick lives in Columbia with his wife, Sarah, who is an attorney at another local law firm. Nick joined McLeod Law Group in April 2023. W. Mullins McLeod

A third-generation lawyer in South Carolina, Mullins McLeod is a fearless trial lawyer and dedicated victims' rights advocate. He has successfully represented clients in a multitude of complex matters including mass toxic torts, civil rights violations, wrongful death, nursing home abuse, catastrophic injury, and irresponsible commercial practices.
