McCallum Engineering was founded in the 1970s and over the years has built a reputation for delivering cost effective solutions for engineering projects. In 2014 Stephen Howman of McCallum Cranes (2014) Ltd purchased the business and brings many years of engineering expertise in lifting equipment, building maintenance units and special purpose machinery to this well respected business... At McCallum Engineering we specialise in overhead cranes. We build gantry, portal and gib cranes of all sizes and offer a complete service: design, build, installation, repairs and maintenance... In our machine shop we manufacture shafts, pins, wheels etc. Having this capability in-house can enable us to complete a job quickly when we might otherwise be held up waiting for a specific part.
