A harmonious form of texture and color, my compositions balance nature and the ethereal, mixing realism and abstraction. My most recent abstract mountain rock series was painted on site at the Chama River in Abiquiú, New Mexico and plein air in Boulder, Colorado... The vibrant colors cast by the formations of the light on the rocks suggest the depths of human emotions that resonate inside of everyone, and radiate outwards transforming our environments and the ways in which we are taught to perceive them.
