Daniela Lupien

Daniela is responsible for leading MineralTree's Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams. Daniela's passion for building and empowering teams cultivates first class employee experiences within the SaaS industry. Her progressive, organizational mindset has strengthened MineralTree's culture, and established a benchmark in the areas of diversity, high-growth recruiting and business transformation. With over 10 years of experience, Daniela is a tenured "Treemate" having joined back in 2015 as the first Human Resources hire supporting around 20 employees. Today, MineralTree is close to 200 employees and continues to grow! Daniela is originally from Switzerland and speaks fluent German. She resides in Salem, MA (Halloween Town) with her husband, Justin, their one-year old son, Ford, and their dog, Norman. She enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and is an avid Taco enthusiast.

Ed Hadley

Ed is responsible for leading MineralTree's marketing strategy and execution, leveraging his extensive experience helping high-growth SaaS companies to scale. He previously led MineralTree's product marketing, content marketing, and PR functions, helping to drive go-to-market planning and execution across the company's direct and partner channels. He possesses a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by AP and finance teams, along with the buyer-supplier dynamic in Accounts Payable. Prior to MineralTree, Ed held marketing leadership roles at Vade Secure, an email security vendor; Mendix, a low code platform vendor that was acquired by Siemens; and Neolane, a campaign management software vendor that was acquired by Adobe. He began his career in public relations at PAN Communications, working with clients such as Open Text, SkillSoft, Exact Software, and KANA Software. Ed's interests and hobbies outside of work include running, discovering new bands and seeing live music, reading both fiction and non-fiction, and spending as much time as possible with his wife and two kids.

Elle Kowal - COO

Elizabeth (Elle) Kowal is responsible for strategically leading MineralTree in creating a friction-less AP & payment process. She is passionate about building our brand and dominating the market, while creating a strong culture and providing growth and coaching to team members.

Gary Brand

Gary Brand is the General Manager, for FI Partner Programs at MineralTree. An accomplished direct and indirect executive, Gary's career spans over thirty years in technology. Prior to Mineral Tree, at Fiserv Gary lead the strategy for billing, payment and communications solutions. Prior roles at Fiserv include the introduction of Immediate Funds and Source Capture Solutions, both of which Gary successfully led from startup to multimillion-dollar businesses. Prior to joining Fiserv, Gary led sales, channel and product organizations, for Network Associates (McAfee), IBM and Lotus Development Corporation. With over 500 public speaking engagements, Gary is a popular speaker at industry conferences, client events and educational forums. Gary enjoys the outdoors with his favorite activity, playing golf with his wife and two sons.

Jill Rosenthal

Jill Rosenthal is responsible for the success and growth of MineralTree's B2B payment solutions. As head of MineralTree's Payment Operations organization, she leads the teams responsible for optimizing our customers' payments, providing value to their suppliers, and generating revenue growth for MineralTree. Jill is an experienced leader and versatile 20-year commercial card and B2B payments industry professional. Prior to MineralTree, Jill spent 14 years at JPMorgan where she held leadership and strategy roles in their commercial payments business. Jill's career focus and passion is conceiving and executing B2B payments growth strategies, developing and leading high-performing teams, driving revenue, and cultivating strong customer and partner relationships. Outside of work, you will find Jill spending as much time possible outdoors with her family and their high energy puppy, Peet. She enjoys cooking, hiking, skiing and taking long walks.

Joe Fortini

Job Titles:

Joe serves as the Vice President of Customer Success at MineralTree. He and his team are responsible for working with MineralTree clients to Automate their AP process. This means helping them make the most of their investment in MineralTree's AP Automation solution. He and his team love sharing best practices with clients as they digitize their AP process from invoice capture, coding and approvals to optimizing their payments. Prior to joining MineralTree Joe spent 10 years as Senior Vice President of Account Management at Smart Tuition, a Blackbaud company. Outside of work, Joe has a passion for sports and the outdoors. He can often be found hiking with his family or shooting a round of golf. A native New Yorker now living in New England, he also spends his time reminding the locals which baseball team has won more championships (regardless of recent history!)

John Keast

John leads MineralTree's Enterprise Operations team that defines, implements and operates our AP and Payment solutions for Enterprise customers. John's team takes a unique outcome driven approach when working with our Enterprise customers before, during and after the implementation to ensure they achieve the short and sustained long term business value they expect. Prior to MineralTree, John served as COO at Inspyrus that was acquired by MineralTree in 2020. John has also held C-level Digital Transformation, Operations and Technology roles at DHL Worldwide Express, Apple Computer, PG&E Corporation, E2Open, VEGAS.com and has successfully founded several VC funded startups focussed on B2B and IOT. Outside of work John is an avid Blues and Rock Fan, aspiring Bass Player, a Harley-Davidson Enthusiast and recently into BBQ - he is fortunate to know many of the worlds leading headliners and chefs - thanks to his time as COO of Vegas.com.

Matt Friend

Matt Friend is responsible for leading MineralTree's product and design and program and project management organizations. Matt leads his teams to ensure the delivery of business value to the market through understanding client needs, pain points, and market opportunities. In addition, Matt works across organizational boundaries to clearly define, align teams with, and execute strategic goals and objectives. Throughout his career, Matt has worked in various leadership positions at both small startups and large established companies, including MathWorks and SmashFly, where he built teams and processes to define and align on product strategy and drive product delivery.

Ram Purohit

Job Titles:

Ram is responsible for leading the Engineering Teams and Overall Operations for India at MineralTree. He ensures delivery of high quality products and features through a high performing team, cutting edge technologies and the culture of innovation. Prior to MineralTree, Ram has led Product Development, Solution Architecture and Software Engineering functions at various organizations including Capillary, Oracle, Volvo, GE and Accenture. He has also been instrumental in setting up Offshore Development Centers for these companies. Ram has exposure to different cultures from working in 9 countries. Outside of work, he loves to spend his time jamming on guitar and drum with his wife and daughter. He also enjoys spending time on hiking, tracking or biking trips.

Rob Brooks

Job Titles:

Robert is responsible for all engineering efforts at MineralTree including Software Architecture, Development, QA, Data Science, Cloud Operations, and Information Security. Rob brings over 25 years of experience in payments, analytics and operations to MineralTree. He has helped a number of startups successfully grow and achieve prominence. Those learnings have been very beneficial in his role at MineralTree. Most recently, Rob was Vice President of Engineering at Nielsen (NYSE: NLSN), a global measurement and data analytics company. Rob joined Nielsen from Visual IQ when the marketing analytics company was acquired by Nielsen in 2017. His career also includes engineering leadership roles at Nuance Communications (NASD: NUAN), a provider of conversational AI solutions; ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW), a leading provider of omni-channel payments technology; and P&H Solutions, a pioneer in web-based cash management solutions. Rob lives in Westford, MA with his wife and two daughters. His extended family includes 2 dogs, a cat and a parrot as well.

Sera Chowdhury

Sera Chowdhury oversees both the direct sales and partner sales organizations. Sera leads her teams to ensure that they cultivate strong relationships throughout the entire customer lifecycle and create lasting promoters for the business. Sera has been with MineralTree ever since the early stages of the company, when the product's go-to-market strategy was still nascent and the entire company was fewer than 30 people. Since then, Sera has been responsible for a significant portion of MineralTree's commercial success, helping partner with thousands of growing businesses to modernize their finance teams. Sera is a proud Bangladeshi-American who is passionate about promoting both racial and gender diversity in the workplace, especially in the traditionally homogenous space of technology sales. During her time at MineralTree, she founded the women's affinity organization and is a member of several sales thought leadership boards, where she continues to advocate for hiring and nurturing diverse talent. Sera lives in Boston with her husband and cat and loves testing the boundaries of how spicy restaurants can make their food.
