Douglas L. Gordon practices civil litigation with an emphasis on plaintiff's wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, products liability, UIM/UM, and medical malpractice. He has completed approximately 20 civil jury trials to verdict in state and federal courts and has extensive experience in all stages of litigation. Mr. Gordon is a member of the Fresno County Bar Association, the State Bar of California, and the Consumer Attorneys of California, as well as the National Lawyers Guild. Since 2008 he has been active on the Board of the San Joaquin Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, acting as Ninth Circuit Representative for 3 years, Co-Chair of the Eastern District Conference 2009-2011, and currently President of the Board. He has been retained by the State Bar of California as an expert witness on personal injury litigation in attorney disciplinary proceedings. Mr. Gordon was the recipient of the 2018 Blaine Petit Mentor Award from the Fresno County Young Lawyers Association. He has been a speaker at numerous MCLE seminars and has participated in various high school law-related civics activities at CART and through annual Civil Rights presentations of the FBA. He is active in pro bono work, having represented several prisoners in Section 1983 lawsuits as well as one unaccompanied minor who received residency status. He also performs volunteer pro tem settlement conferences on behalf of the Fresno County Superior Court.

Lyndsie N. Russell

MSE is proud to announce that Lyndsie N. Russell is now a shareholder in the firm. She graduated from Fresno State in 2012 with a B.A. in Political Science, cum laude, and a B.S. in Criminology, cum laude. She was a member of the Smittcamp Family Honors College and the Criminology Honors Program. Ms. Russell received her J.D. from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law in 2016. Ms. Russell currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Fresno County Bar Association and is the past president of the Fresno County Young Lawyers Association. She additionally is the current president of Philanthropy Inspired by the Needs of Our Community (PINC), a local non-profit serving women and children. Ms. Russell is additionally a member of the State Bar of California, the Central California Trial Lawyers' Association, the Federal Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the American Bar Association, the Consumer Attorneys of California, and the National Trial Lawyers. Ms. Russell has received an AV Rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings. In every year since 2019, she has been selected for inclusion in the Northern California Rising Stars list, a distinction only bestowed upon 2.5% of the attorneys in Northern California. Christopher Watters has been named a Rising Star annually since 2012. Lyndsie Russell has been named a Super Lawyer annually since 2019.
