MOVING FORWARD - Key Persons

LouAnne Audette, OTR (retired) and c-SMM (Certified Senior Move Manager), has been a registered Occupational Therapist since 1975. After reading about the success of Moving Solutions and its founder, Margit Novak, LouAnne became determined that there was a need for move assistance for senior citizens in the metro Detroit area and that she was particularly suited to provide it. Along with her husband Tim, LouAnne completed an internship with Margit Novak and Moving Solutions in 2000 and as the sole owner, founded Moving Forward. A year later, Margit and a handful of pioneers started The National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM), a professional association geared toward promoting the unique services of this growing industry. Moving Forward is one of the founding members. Tim and LouAnne have been presenters at the National Conference and LouAnne is on the Accreditation Commission.
